View Full Version : Bill and Ted...3?

No Way! Keanu Reeves has suggested that work has begun on a third 'Bill and Ted' movie.
Reeves played Ted Theodore Logan in 1989's 'Excellent Adventure', and its subsequent sequel in 1992 - 'Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey'. Alex Winter played Bill S Preston.
Winter recently revealed that the original film's writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are working on the script.
Talking to MTV, Reeves admitted he can't wait to reprise his famous time travelling rocker role nearly 20 years later.
He said, "I'm still friends with Alex and we're talking to Chris and Ed to see if they can write something. I'd love to play the role and work with them again. We'll see what they do..."
No director has been attached yet (despite Reeves joking that he wanted notorious filmmaker Werner Herzog to helm the movie), but no doubt fans of the popular franchise will be desperate to see Bill and Ted on the big screen again.

There was talk about this years and years ago and that was canned so I'm sceptical.

It's a shame that Carlin isn't around anymore, but still. This news is most triumphant.

Aren't they like 40 now?

Nope. They've actually managed to not age and are both still in their early twenties.

Read the title from the front page and said "No...." out loud.

I'll take a sequel over a remake any day of the week at this point, in any franchise

Most sequels of this type of movie with this generation gap tend to be a remake (or reboot) more than a true sequel regardless.

Example? I can't think of anything right now

No. No. No.

Bill and Ted were a product of their time. Leave it to the past and nostalgia. This does not need to be made.

So I heard they are doing a 3rd to the films. And Reeves
and Winter are returning... Winter is also writing the script too..

Any thoughts? Does it deserve a 3rd film?

Reeves peaked in these movies, so a sequel will be perfect.

I like your post. I don't know how they could possibly make Bill and Ted 3 as epic as the first two. I like Excellent Adventure the best, but I have seen Bogus Journey more and the best part of that one is easily Death.

So he can bring back Rufus?

Screw William Sadler. He is nothing compared to George Carlin!
