View Full Version : Wrestling Related Merchandise
I've never purchased anything wrestling related especially the clothing but I kind of wanna rock the new RKO Viper shirt until I try it on and see that I don't have Orton's physique and my self-confidence plummets. I do plan on buying all the championship titles, including UFC and NWA, someday though. What kind of wrestling related shirts or other merchandise do you really like, already have or plan on getting?

I haven't bought any merchandise since the attitude era. Had a couple D-X shirts and an Undertaker shirt.

owwww. Notice how everybody has gathered around to be in the same picture as my beautiful t-shirt?
That's about 8th time I've posted that shirt. Have a few others (RVD, Funk, Londrick) but only tend to wear them to the gym/'during physical activity' so no pics.

I have Edge's "Crude, Lewd and Tattooed" T-Shirt and also his "Rated R Superstar" wristbands. I haven't bought any other Edge stuff recently as I'm not a fan of the cartoon Edge that's on all his merchandise at the moment. I also have a SmackDown vs Raw 2009 T-Shirt and a T-Shirt with the SmackDown roster on it from about 2006.
But right now, I'm thinking of buying The Miz's "I'm Awesome" T-Shirt. I'm not a fan of his newest T-Shirt with the "Hello" sticker on it.

The only piece of wrestling clothing I've ever bought was just a few months at the concession stands during Raw. It was kind of a drunk purchase - bought a $30 Bret Hart t-shirt just to wear during the event. I don't know if I would ever wear wrestling-related clothing in public. Except maybe an nWo t-shirt.
Other than that, I've bought Bret Hart's DVD and his autobiography. I'm thinking of also getting the Hart Family DVD that just came a few months ago.
One thing I would really like to get is a replica title. I don't know what I would do with it but it would just be cool to have. But they're like $200 and not worth it. If I could get one for around like $50, I'd do it.

Nothing, because I don't wear wrestling merchandise. The last time I did was in 1999. However I am planning on buying Smackdown vs Raw 2011 if that counts.

The only wrestling shirt I own is the old Age of the Fall shirt from ROH. I normally don't wear wrestling shirts, but it looks awesome, and gives no indication it's a wrestling shirt. I can't find a picture though.

last wrestling related shirt I owned was the ORIGINAL cammo green "DX ARMY" shirt.
I've still got a What? shirt and some Triple H top-rope shirt early this year that I thought looked pretty sweet.

I had the Stone Cold University T-shirt, even though I didn't like Stone Cold. I think someone bought it for me and I was like "Yeah, thanks" and never wore it.
Only other wrestling shirt I ever owned was the NWO Wolfpac shirt, which I rocked quite a bit back in the day and thought I was the coolest guy in the world for doing it.

I have about 50 big boxes of wrestling stuff. I have like 4 or 5 of them at my house, and the others are in storage until I settle into a place I plan on buying [not renting]. It's all stuff from the 70's,80's and 90's - mid 2000's timeframe.
I don't buy much of the current stuff; mainly collect the older, rarer items. I basically get ring worn items, displays, banners, PPV used stuff, older event posters, etc. Lots of things. I have stuff going back to the 1930's. I have stuff from Japan, NWA, ECW, TNA, WWWF, WWF, WWE, WCW, indies, etc. Just about all the bases.
I have like 3,000 or so signatures - maybe more. I probably will sell off half my collection at some point in the future, since I'm planning on getting away from most things wrestling related within the next few years. Probably narrow it down to like 20 boxes of items that have sentimental value or are really rare, as they'll be worth even more in the future.

First shirt was the "Wanna Raise Some Hell?" Austin shirt. Even though it was kinda big I wore the hell out of that thing.
I never, ever got a shirt for The Rock, which bums me out considering he was my favorite during the Attitude era.
When Bret came back, I bought his shirt and wear it when I can. Also bought Orton's labotomy t-shirt when Austin hosted Raw.
I openly wear my Bret and Orton shirts in public. Why is it some of you guys aren't comfortable wearingg wrestling shirts in public? Im honestly baffled.
I have only ever had one wrestling shirt, a Nasty Boys shirt, which I got at an event in the UK when I was about 9. There are a few shirts that are cool nowadays (Edge, Orton, Miz stuff) but still obviously wrestling related so I won't wear them.
The reason for this (as asked above) is that I am now 26 and whether I like it or not there is a stigma attached to watching wrestling at that age. Plus they are expensive and often seem to be made of cheap material (unless that's changed more recently).
I had Bret Hart, HBK and Undertaker shirts as a kid in like 6th grade.
Have the original NWO and DX shirts.
Had the first Latino Heat shirt.
Have the ECW World Title and WWF Intercontinental title (Attitude era) replica belts.
Got and an Undertaker shirt and a Stone Cold shirt Tb1 gave me.
Aside from old action figures, CD's and a couple of video games, I think that's it.

I have a Bret Hart shirt which I wear when I play hockey.
Used to have a Cactus Jack shirt for the same purpose but it doesn't fit anymore. Bought it when I was a scrawny teenager.

Well your question about their quality is spot on. I hang dry my shirts cause I know they won't last long after a few runs through the dryer.
I get the stigma. but you're 26, I'm 24, and I personally feel we are both too old to give two shits about what stigmas follow older wrestling fans. My girlfriend still loves me. That's about all I care about at this point.

Also forgot to mention I still have my small collection of Jakks action figures. The bone crunching ones that were out for a while.
And if you couldn't tell already, I own the cheaper version replica of the World Heavyweight Title and would like to, at somee point in my life, own the winged eagle strap from the attitude era.

The new one is bad ass. If I had the money to get it, I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat.
