Any of you guys ever dressed up as a Video game character for anything?

I'm in the process of making a Splicer mask from Bioshock, I looked at the prices of them on Ebay. They sell for like £90...

There's the mask as of now...

I'm lurking over at 405th forums learning how to make stuff, but as soon as this mask is set, all I need is the rest of the costume and i'm sorted...

No, because even I'm not that gay.

I dressed as Dan Hibiki. It didn't go so well.

To be fair, a splicer costume is a lot less gay than most videogame costumes. And it is Halloween. Not like he's doing it for a con or something.

I'm not entirely sure how dressing as a videogame character is gayer than dressing as a super hero. Lycra tights and a mask seems "gayer" to me than most of the stuff you'd wear dressing as a game character.

For the record, my Dan Hibiki costume was for a "Hero & Villains" costume themed birthday party.
