We can never go too long in this forum without talking about the Iron Sheik. So lets say that Nikolai Volkoff and the Iron Sheik were in there prime debuted now, managed of course by the great Ayatollah Blassie (basically you take them from WM1 and put them into today). What do you think would happen to them in todays wrestling scene? Would their gimmick be seen as too one dimensional and never become serious? Would they win more tag titles than Team 3D? As you could see from the video Iron Sheik was exactly the same then as he is now, would they never pass a drug test and never make it to a major promotion?

Didn't he leave to pursue acting? He was money during his short time in WWE

The Iron Sheikh with his gimmick and mouth wouldn't have lasted a month in WWE.

I'm sure their gimmicks would be seen as un-pc and they'd not stand a chance.
