Best ever is probably "When Harry Met Sally."

For her: A nice romantic comedy.
For him: Meg Ryan faking an orgasm.

Best recent is "Love Actually."

For her: A nice romantic comedy.
For him: Laura Linney and Keira Knightley.

I liked the movie when I watched it with my Gf, it was like 3 out of 5 stars. I would have given it 4 out of 5 if I wouldn't have seen Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton make out for 30-45 minutes of the movie. Her crying during that scene where she writes her play was just Damn terrible.

The Sweetest Thing was pretty good.

For me personally it's still Wild Things though. Maybe because the girl I saw it with told me she was bisexual and liked Neve Campbell during the scene where Campbell kisses Denise Richards. :D

Any movie that isn't funny. Bad experience. I was watching Van Wilder with my girlfriend and we started making out. Well the part where Dick is ripping massive farts, I started laughing and she got all mad and stuff.

Of course, some of that may have to do with the fact that Van Wilder is a cinematic abomination and the fact that you laughed at any of it insulted her intelligence.

Or maybe I'm just biased against dick-and-fart-joke movies.

I wasn't even laughing at the fact that the guy was farting. I was laughing because it's kind of awkward making out and hearing noises like that.

Why are people naming shitty rom com films, anyway? Why would they be more relevant, exactly, unless your date is a dribbling moron from a cretin farm.

OK, how about:

The Matrix --- for some reason, this is one of the few action movie that chicks can stand. (I suspect it's the oh so fashionable gear that Neo and Co. wear.)

Mask of Zorro --- I remember the girls in our group cooing about how beatiful Catherine Zeta Jones looked. I remember the guys agreeing.

You are obviously blessed with girls who have some appreciation for great sci-fi action. Every girl that I've tried to watch The Matrix with has fallen asleep or made me change it, neither of which I appreciated and thusly I ended up having to beat her.

I suggest "A Walk To Remember." Girls absolutely orgasm over this movie. However, don't get it if you really can't stand corny shit, because that's all this movie is.

Something's Gotta Give? Noooooooo, I'm sorry but seeing old people naked and crap isn't my cup of tea - turn off.

Intolerable Cruelty makes a'ight for a date movie, romantic comedy. Can't really think of anything else atm.
