thinking about enrolling in a wrestling school around my area. don't plan to get too serious with it but would love to be able to wrestle some local shows in front of my friends in the crowd. from what i understand my options are:

CZW
Chikara
ROH
Monster Factory

they all cost about the same except for CZW which is about $500 cheaper. however that's probably because all they teach is how to take chair shots to the head. any suggestions?

Well, CZW isn't wrestling, so that narrows your choices to 3. After that, I'd say it depends on what style you want to learn.

The CZW school will teach you what you need to know, whatever you learn after that is off your own back/'how much you want it'. You aren't going to walk into any school on earth and come out the next Bryan Danielson.

And it doesn't really have anything to do with 'what style you want to learn'. A decent enough school will teach you things that every single wrestler on the planet should know, no matter what your 'style' is.

Go to each one and have a look around. They should have no problems with you just checking out your options and then pick the one you best prefer. As others have said, a good school won't teach you a single style they'll instead teach you everything you need to know to be a pro. Good luck.

If you want to wrestle CZW style, just tell your friends to hit you with Chairs and Ladders and then just brawl and fly all over.

I hear Chikara is having a one-off trial day later this month so you might want to look into that.

Don't get into wrestling just for shits and gigs. Let that spot in the school go to someone who wants to really pursue it

Where did the Fresh Prince of Bel Air learn how to fight? Go there. In West Philadelphia on a playground was where he spent most of his days I think. Just don't make trouble in his neighborhood.
