I enjoy the pairing of the Miz and Alex Riley. Even though the have the same kinda gimmick, it doesnt come off that bad. Should the WWE add another guy and make it a trio with Miz as the leader? I think the Miz is charismatic enough to be the leader and it would be a good way to give another guy a chance to get some screen time. There are plenty of generic big guys in FCW to be there back up, or they could take somebody from NXT 2 that isnt doing anything (Eli Cottonwood, Titus O'Neil, Lucky Cannon)

Side Note, Its been awhile since I watched FCW is that big Matt Morgan looking guy still there? (I wanna say his name was Jackson Andrews) He could fit in with the Miz and Riley

When he's "ready", call up Bo Rotunda and make them the new Varsity Club.

They seem like they could be like the equivalent of the film industry's "packs":
(not making stables, just grouping eras more or less)

The Rat Pack - Hogan, Macho, Flair, Race...
The Brat Pack - HBK, Nash, Austin, Rock, Trips...
The Frat Pack - Miz, Riley, Dibiase Jr, Morrison, Orton...

I think its better just keeping them as is.

I wouldn't mind seeing Riley reform the Varsity Club with Bo Rotunda down the line, but keep The Miz far away from that group.

I don't think Lucky Cannon, Titus O'Neill, or Eli Cottonwood are anywhere near being ready to be called up to WWE.

Having Miz lead a group would drag him down. However, aligning Miz with this group in a loose way could be beneficial to them, and lend more of the "Made Man" image.

As much as it is shocking to say, Miz now has the ability to give someone the rub.

Nah; I like the Miz/Riley dynamic. I really think a third would hurt him. Riley and Miz work because Miz is the cool kid in town, and he's letting Riley tag along. There's a built in feud for when Riley is tired of being in the shadow. It's a good dynamic.

To be honest, I'm not really digging the two together. I like Riley enough, and The Miz has been awesome -- but I just don't feel it. I think The Miz would be better solo right now. I wouldn't mind Riley being on SmackDown!, or something. Perhaps paired with Jack Swagger? Jacky Boy's lost some steam, and he and Riley have similar gimmicks, as well. Both can talk, and working with Swagger will help Riley out in the ring.

I love the pairing between these two; they compliment each other very well and Riley really does seem to come off as both a true follower of the Awesome One and a threat to the Miz' enemies. I think he got over with me when he grabbed John Morrison and flipped him over, slamming him extremely hard on the steel entrance grate at HIAC.

I love the pairing and think it works well but I can't see The Miz wanting a tag along for long, His character often says that HE is awesome and that HE will be champion and HE is the Magazine cover man and it's HIS show.

Would be epic if Riley cost Miz his cash in down the line.

Think Riley would come across better playing a face.
