View Full Version : When Will The Miz Cash In?
At this point I think Miz has held onto his MITB briefcase longer than anyone else who has held it in the past. I love the storyline and I'm glad that the WWE has taken their time with Mizanin, steadily building him up and allowing him to get himself more over with the audience. At this point, I feel that he could walk around RAW with the WWE Championship and actually be taken seriously.
But when will he do it? Will he be the first one to LOSE his MITB cash-in? What kind of storyline would you want to see play out from his cash-in?

I don't think that Miz is the longest holder of the case. It was either CM Punk or Edge that held the case for almost an entire year wasn't it?

Edge held it from Wrestlemania until the start of the following year, I think he's the one that held it the longest so far. I'm guessing Miz will hold it for a long time but he will win a world title with it. Probably after Wrestlemania

I love the Miz storyline and like Fox said - the steady buildup has been great so far, but I'm afraid that he will be the one person to lose his "cash in" match. They can't have every person cash in and win - someone has to lose at some point.

:yes::yes: But I think around Jan/Feb... maybe at the RR...
I think he'll lose the title at the Chamber and be put in a match with one of the participants at Wrestlemania.
Thats of course if he wins it, but I reckon he will at TLC in the usual fashion (cash in after gruelling match formula).

It might be a Cole botch, but he said on Raw it wad valid UNTIL Wrestlemania.

The Miz should cash in on John Cena at WrestleMania. I would pay to see that match!!!!

I can't see a heel ever losing it, coming down after a match or a beatdown and taking advantage, especially the longer he holds onto it, i think thats almost part of the gimmick now that its practically a guaranteed title reign.

Get this guys, fucking get this.
Miz holds onto the contract until Wrestlemania,
Undertaker wins title in Main Event, Miz cashes in and wins the title and ends the streak with a single SCF.

Also Not so much into this idea but It would be feasible and never done before for the MitB winner to hold onto the breifcase for a whole year, then cash in at the end of the Mania Card the following year then have the MitB winner from earlier in the night cash in on them straight away.

If the contract lasts the entire year, shouldn't Miz be able to cash in it until July 2011?

He'll probably cash it in on Orton if I had to guess. After this month's feud with Barrett, the cupboard is kind of bare in regards to heel challengers to Orton's title.
With CM Punk back on Raw, and seemingly getting re-established, he'll probably be the next in line to feud for the title, and I can see that going on for a few months, with the feud blowing off at TLC. Grueling match, Orton goes over, and Miz cashes is.
After Punk (who I doubt would take the title off of Orton), there really isn't a new challenger for Orton...they'll have to book Miz into the picture, and the PPV schedule lines up perfectly for him to do it.

Now THAT would be so worth it. Taker wins his match to go 19-0 and then Miz ends it after. Taker goes out big and Miz gets some major heel heat for finishing off the dead man - he could milk that for months.

When Mr Kennedy won it, they had a 'Kennedy Countdown' on WWE.com counting down to the following Wrestlemania where he was cashing in.
But then he got injured. Would of been interesting to see how it would of gone down tho.

Miz wins Royal Rumble, and heads to Wrestlemania where he fails to win the Title in the main event..... After the champion celebrates and pyro/confetti/whatever else happens to signify the show is over Miz grabs a microphone and claims he's cashing in MITB, thus continuing the match and eventually winning the Title on his second attempt.....

As much as I loathe The Jiz, I can see the following happening:
He holds onto the MITB case, gets into the ladder match at WM and wins THAT case. At a PPV somewhere between WM and next year's MITB, he cashes in the Raw case and wins it, then they can tease him cashing in the WM case for a unification for a while.

Royal Rumble or WrestleMania would be my guess.

When The Miz won the MITB he was no where NEAR main event level, imho. Since they let him tease it and boast it he has become a real superstar, and will one day be in the main event, if not BE the main event (in a way that Cena, Triple H, SCSA, The Rock, and Hogan were THE main event).

I can see Miz being the first one to cash in and be unsuccessful. It has to happen at some point. I see him cashing in at Wrestlemania if anything. He might win the Royal Rumble too, though I hope WWE realizes guys like John Morrison deserve the spot as well.

Miz keeping the case and winning the Royal Rumble would be great. Then if he were to cash in at Elimination Chamber, and use his title shot on the other champion, he could attempt to unify the belts.
It's a lot ot expect them to invest almost the entire road to wrestlemania on his push though.

Though it was gonna be at NOC tbh and I still feel that it would have been the most ideal time to do as I feel the Royal Rumble to WM wouldn't qualify as a credible run in my eyes. With that said I hope they decide to put the strap on him at Surivor Series and playing the role of the spoiler after Orton goes onto winning yet another grueling battle against Wade Barrett and/or Sheamus. Could have brought up Cena's name but I have very little faith in WWE that they will ever turn him heel especially since he still wears his own gear yet he is supposedly a part of Nexus but maybe it's just a setup for what is really to come.

No, I sincerely hope not. Miz could have been that comic relief loser before, but he has fucking run with this ball so goddam hard, that he should get a title reign just for his valiant efforts.
I also agree that Morrison deserves a serious look. Hell if Jack Friggin Swagger has a title reign, why the fuck hasn't Morrison had a serious shot at ME? The dude is a fucking HBK clone, and with that epic beard AND the abs???

I could see The Miz cashing in at Bragging Rights. I didn't feel it at Night of Champions or Bragging Rights, but I do feel it (potentially) for BR. I could see shenanigans in the main event. While I would mark out like a little bitch, Wade Barrett doesn't seem likely to win the WWE Title at this point, even with this movement to rush new stars. My bet is that John Cena "accidentally" costs Barrett the match, or something like that. Barrett could then order Cena to attack Orton, and from there The Miz could cash-in (perhaps even turning his back on Team RAW earlier that night to conserve energy). The Miz then pins Orton and becomes the new WWE Champion, as Cena is pissed off he helped The Miz out.
That continues three feuds for Cena, which could potentially stretch until WrestleMania -- Cena vs. Barrett, Cena vs. The Miz and even Cena vs. Orton, who I don't think would be too happy that Cena cost him his title.

Yeah good point, I can't recall the last time one face cost another the world title, even inadvertently. That'd be decent for the CeNexus storyline as Orton could openly question his motives and get involved while Miz moves on to a few smaller world title feuds, maybe with JoMo while the big storylines are cleared in time for the build to Mania.

Even with the WWE's booking, I doubt that'll happen. Taker will 100% retire undefeated at Mania.

Would this not make Miz the greatest heel in the history of the world though?
It would be an epic way to end the streak.

It would make an even better last appearance for the Undertaker if he defeats his WM opponent and then defeats a surprise MitB opponent! Since this wont be his last mania, it'll have to happen some other year.

It should be Undertaker's last WM. It's getting to the point where Undertaker is hanging around for too long, and he isn't too far away from the point where fans will start wishing he would just leave.
As far as Miz goes, I see him cashing in the MITB before the year ends, to start 2011 on a high note. Probably at the December PPV.

Whether Miz wins or loses is completely irrelevant. I think that he could milk it for a long time and get himself over either way. If he loses, he not only gets himself over, but he gets the other guy over too.
Personally, I'd have him lose. It would instantly create a major feud between the title-holder and the Miz. It would have real meaning, and people could identify with both sides.

Thanksgiving Day at the Orton household. Cowboy Bob will be livid as he didn't get to carve the turkey yet.
I want Miz to win the Rumble, then completely stop talking about the case after winning. This isn't to say that it'll just be dropped, but it has to be done in a subtle way. Then you build up the Mania build to the point that the case is all but forgotten (it has to be an amazing build to put it into the back of fans' minds). Then, have Miz lose his match at Mania after a hard-fought match. Then you have him cash in and win in "overtime", after his opponent has given him his all.
It gives Miz massive heel heat and keeps his opponent strong.

After decking his opponent with the case, of course.

I love this idea, but I don't know who would be the guy to put Miz over like that. Cena? No way; not the WWE's Golden Boy. Triple H? Doubtful. Not at the grandest stage of them all. A face CM Punk might be pretty great, and I think he could turn pretty easily with the huge reactions he's been getting lately.
