View Full Version : my biased opinion. (Wrestlers in Hollywood Edition)

Only two wrestlers have truly "Made it" in Hollywood. Neither one are named Hulk Hogan, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, or John Cena.

One of them is the Rock. I say he's "Made it" because he's actually been in successful movies and he hasn't had to go crawling back to wrestling.

The other did, however, train Piper in wrestling: Gene LeBell. I say he's "Made it" because he became a legendary stuntman and is still getting work today, in his 70s.

I'm pretty sure more people know of Hogan and Piper than Gene LeBell and people knowing who you are is usually a pretty good indicator of 'making it'.

I can't believe Jason Segal didn't get an Oscar for his Andre impression

I never got to see that movie when it came out. I wasn't particularly interested as the plot seemed pretty dumb, but I like Paul Rudd and Jason Segel. My favorite of all those movies that came out is Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I know not alot of people like that one, but I always have liked it. Was the movie worth seeing?

It's nothing ground-breaking but it's definitely worth seeing. Anything involving Jason Segal is.
