View Full Version : Are they unifying the US/IC Titles at Bragging Rights?
I know that Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler has been announced for BR as a title-for-title match, which means one man is going to walk out with both belts. With all the talk of unifying the titles, I can see the WWE using this as their way of testing the waters to see how having only one mid-card title will change things by having one guy carry around both titles for awhile. Or maybe this IS a unification match and they're just not billing it as such.
Nevermind, just realized it was a non-title match.

I am guessing Daniel wins this and then a unification match is held at the next PPV.

If they do a unification with the current holders, either Ziggles wins or they use it to break up Dolph and Vickie.

At Bragging Rights, I believe it is just champion vs. champion like they did with Morrison vs. Miz last year. If they are unifying the belts, I think Survivor Series would be the better choice. Daniel Bryan as the undisputed IC/US champion would be awesome, though I could see Kaval cashing in his title opportunity and winning it as well. You know he is one this losing streak unfortunately, but his first win will be big and this is a great idea. Ziggler is good, but I just would rather Danielson win the match if this happens.

WWE has such a huge mid-card, I think these are the two belts that they shouldn't unify.

This shit is totally rushed, not enough build up going into the PPV.

lol there's a PPV Sunday? Isn't that like 3 in about 6 weeks?

Yep. I think the feud that's been hurt the most by this is Taker/Kane. This feud has been so ridiculously rushed. A no DQ match, a HIAC, and a Buried Alive match all within a 6 week span.
I knew BR was soon but I was shocked to hear them say it was "This Sunday" when I watched Raw.
Taker/Kane is a long, drawn out fued that's been done in 6(ish) weeks, lol.

Unification will be possible, if the champ that loses, doesn't get the title back in a rematch at a later PPV

Except for the fact that the titles are NOT on the line in the Bryan/Ziggler match.

I could see the winner of the match wanting a shot at the other's title come Survivor Series. I don't want them to unify the titles, either, but I could see them doing it.

History would favor Daniel Bryan then, since it was SS 01 when US Champ Edge beat IC Champ Test to unify the belts.
