It would also explain why WWE RAW had a dvd release commercial for the movie 3 days later on RAW.
Supposedly only 6 theaters bothered to show the film during the weekend.
One theater had a whopping TWO viewers!

WHOA WAIT THIS REPORT BY S.T.D. IS FALSE........it did worse, lol.
What happens if a movie is made and hit the theatres (even if it is shown in only six for a two-day weekend) and nobody shows up to see?
The answer is you have a movie like Knucklehead, starring World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Big Show in his theatrical debut (or, in the case, dud-but), according to The Wrestling Observer.
The movie, starring Show as a man who has lived his entire life in an orphanage and becomes used by a fight promoter desperate to pay off debts, had a special limited engagement in only six cities last Saturday and Sunday, but reportedly NO ONE, not one single person, bought a ticket to see the film.
That's right -- NO ONE!
A weekly movie chart that lists every new release -- and we mean EVERY one; big-budget, low-budget and independent -- did not even rank Knucklehead last weekend...and the lowest ranked film on the list only earned, get this, $75!
That's right -- $75!
Of course, WWE hopes (to God) they recoup their investment in this cinematic flop when the movie hits stores on DVD and Blu-Ray November 9.

Though one size fits all can come in handy for Knucklehead's extra large protagonist, Paul "Big Show" Wight, such a concept rarely works in movies. Which may judge this WWE heavyweight romp a lightweight comedic crowd pleaser, especially for kids, but leave wrestling purists grumbling. Wight is Walter Kronk, the Knucklehead in question, a dim-witted fearful giant on the gentle side who has spent his entire life in a Catholic orphanage, in phobic reaction to the outside world. When Eddy (Mark Feuerstein), a boxing promoter on the run due to a bad debt stops by the orphanage church to pray for a miracle, he spots Walter as his dream salvation in the ring. And convinces the nutty parish nuns to let him take Kronk on the road to raise money that the orphanage is in dire need of as well, in order to make repairs and avoid being shut down.
The initial ho-hum premise picks up narrative steam as the goofy humor escalates during the course of this bumpy road movie, winding its way through outlandish amateur contender standoffs to culmination in a championship bout down in New Orleans. And kicking off for starters with a synagogue showdown between the ferocious infamous 'Kosher Killer' and a clueless Kronk, lacking suitable duds and clad by default in what's referred to as his 'globe hugger' undies.

A fast-talking fight promoter who needs money to pay off a loan shark stumbles upon a gentle giant who might be the answer to his problems in "Knucklehead," a 2010 movie that could have been made in 1940.
The movie stars Mark Feuerstein of TV's "Royal Pains" as the cynical promoter, and WWE performer Paul "The Big Show" Wight as the big man he meets at an orphanage, where the giant is a hapless bumbler who works with kids because he possesses a sparkly-eyed adolescent soul.
The two of them, plus another orphanage worker (Melora Hardin of "The Office") who seems to be around because the script demands a love interest, travel the back roads to a mixed martial arts tournament in New Orleans as the big fella squashes opponents along the way. Only Dennis Farina, as the loan shark on their trail, injects any life into this tired family comedy from the movie-making arm of WWE.
"Knucklehead" 's candy corn heart and shameless predictability are almost touching in their obliviousness to anything that's happened in movies in recent decades. Cute orphans? Really? But as an actor, Paul Wight is in a class with Andre the Giant.

World Wrestling Entertainment (http://www.wwe.com/) continues its effort to meld violent sport with gooey, throwback family comedy in the claptrap road movie “Knucklehead.” In “Legendary,” released last month, the W. W. E. star John Cena (http://movies.nytimes.com/person/447753/John-Cena?inline=nyt-per) played a wrestler; in “Knucklehead” the behemoth Paul Wight (billed as the Big Show) fights his way across the South to win enough money to save his orphanage — the one where, at 35, he still lives.

What's sad is that Paul Wight is a cool person. I wish WWE Studios would stop making movies.
Leave the movies to Cena. At least his movies draw more people than he has moves.

They probably would have by now but the problem is DVD sales and low budgets for most of their films means they can make back all their money and a small profit.
Until they make a few films in a row where they just lose money even with DVD sales is when they probably stop making films.

So I guess this proves the Big Show isn't a draw.
Kevin Nash drew better than Big Show.

To be fair to the Big Show, Nash was masked the whole time.

Didn't WWE agree to this "limited engagement" just to make sure Wal-Mart would put the DVD on their shelves?
Still, wonder what it cost them to make 6 prints of the film.
