View Full Version : 2 different holds ?
Is there really a difference between the La bell lock and the crippler crossface?
Ive seen the labell lock twice now and I dont see where its any different.

He sits up with the Lebell Lock and actually locks his legs. It's a less lazy looking crassface and looks way more painful.

Correct Funky Fly, plus, Lebell never used it on his family so that'd be another difference.

Similarly, on the Crossface the arm is straight, on the LeBell Lock the arm is actually torqued in an unnatural position.

I thought they just called it the Labell Lock because they didn't want to reference Benoit.

nah, they've referenced the crossface, just not "Crippler" or "Guy who murdered his whole crew, but shall remain nameless so we can pretend he never worked here even though he won countless championships".

LeBell Lock
Big difference, the location of the leg closest to opponent's shoulder. Lebell Lock has it over the shoulder, while the Crossface is under the shoulder.
