Cool, provided that they don't decide to make it into Billy and Chuck the Sequel. Rico's career is already doomed with the gay gimmick; I really don't want to see the same thing happen to Haas.

As long as they keep Rico's shtick to "psychological warfare," this could actually work out for him.

But yeah, if he's going down, I'd rather not see Haas Hass Baby go down with him. However, I like Rico's gimmick. How many people are going to be able to beat a guy who plays bongos on their ass and plants a liplock on them when they're down?

There seemed to be plenty of Rico chants during the match, which was surprising. Anyway, I think this is going to be good for both wrestlers. Haas gets exposure as a tag champ again, and Rico --- who, according to earlier rumors, was involved in the trade only to get Miss Jackie on Smackdown --- gets a new lease on life.

Besides, the straight-laced Smackdown show needed a Rico (or a Golddust or a Hurricane... you know, someone weird).

Some of it's funny, but overall, I'd rather see Rico just work, because from all I've heard, he can do it well.

I wouldn't do that to Haas. Haas seems to be a great worker and giving him something like that to work with might ruin him down the line where the fans can't take him serious. Haas is a much better heel and he's got that look to him like he's the type of guy who would pretend to be someone's friend just to steal away thier woman. So if he does this whole thing with Rico right now and then Jackie turns on Rico 3 or 4 months from now and then Haas says it was all a plan from the begginning, I think that would be cool. He would sort of have the character Christian has right now.

It was just humorous speculation anyway. Probably cribbed off a "Will & Grace" plot. ;) They'll most likely go the angle you suggested.

But really, if they decided to go down the route I'd plotted, it's wouldn't be to difficult to have Haas double-cross Rico, having him feign interest only to horribly betray him later (with Jackie's help, of course). But yeah, they'll probably do the Jackie-turns-on-Rico route.

I think think that the team of Haas and Rico is gold and is completely logical for the time being. It gives Rico some credibility as a psychological war machine and still puts over Haas as a credible champion again.

I think this will go awesome. Rico distracts everyone with his off the wall antics while Haas capitalizes and nails the win.

Rico is classic, I wonder if they tag for a while Haas will eventually get used to him and come to accept Rico.

For instance when they tagged for the first time on Smackdown Rico smacked Charlie's ass, it would be funny if in a few weeks/months Charlie just accepts it or doesnt mind it so much. I really hope they dont end up going with the whole turning on each other routine though although I can see this headed there.
