So I had this idea.

At Survivor Series, John Cena reluctantly helps Wade Barrett win the WWE Championship from Randy Orton, making a defining choice by not counting the 3 after an RKO, and planting Randy with the Attitude Adjustment. As Barrett holds up the title, Cena slowly turns to him with a vicious look in his eyes. Before he can attack Barrett as a "free man," Wade escapes with the Nexus into a waiting limousine backstage. Cena glares after their tail lights as the PPV comes to a close.

The next night on RAW, Cena comes out and declares that as a free man, he wants a shot at Wade Barrett and the WWE title tonight. Barrett says he can't have it, but the GM steps in and says otherwise. Orton comes out and says that Cena doesn't deserve the shot, HE is cashing in his rematch clause tonight. The GM orders a Triple Threat for the WWE Title in the main event, with The Nexus BANNED from ringside.

About an hour through the show, we go backstage where Randy Orton is found lying unconscious on the concrete floor, having been brutally assaulted by unknown assailants.

After the break, we see John Cena backstage watching as EMT's load a stretcher bearing Randy Orton into an ambulance. Cena is now even MORE pissed off and determined to get back at the Nexus.

The main event comes. They get into the ring, Barrett second. The bell sounds and Cena charges at Wade with a huge clothesline... but before he hits him, he STOPS. He looks out at the crowd, and then pokes Barrett in the chest. Wade goes down like he's been shot and Cena covers for the 1-2-3. Afterwards, Nexus celebrates inside the ring with their new leader, John Cena, holding the WWE Championship high in the air.

This would all lead to Randy Orton winning a shot at Cena's title at WrestleMania 27 in Atlanta.

Hmmmmmmmm. I don't want Cena to be Nexus leader in place of Barrett.

Fingerpoke of Doom is a once a century idea.

And since the last one happened in the last century, you have just cursed Wade Barrett and this is definitely 100% going to absolutely happen the night after Survivor Series. I hope you are proud of yourself jerichoholicninja.

I am proud of myself. I will jump up and down and run around the room yelling "I called it!" when it happens.

I actually think Miz is going to cash in during the match, which has never been done before. This would create an exciting dynamic with two refs and both Wade and Miz trying to beat Randy first. Miz gets the job done and wins the belt, Cena FU's Barrett and puts him on top of Orton for the 1 2 3. Is Cena fired? Free of the Nexus? Or neither? Tune in Monday night at 9 est to find out.

The idea would be that this has been the plan all along. How does a guy like Wade Barrett climb the ranks of the WWE? He can defeat the best guys in the business or he can TEAM with the best guys in the business, and John Cena is "the greatest WWE superstar in history." Cena came to him with this plan to control the WWE Championship and become Gods in the WWE back when they were in NXT. He promised Barrett a fast track to the top of the card, which is exactly what has happened. Barrett states that he is proud to back the WWE Champion John Cena, and he will follow him anywhere.

Back from a crazy long absence. This is the most outlandish idea I can come up with for Survivor Series:

Wade Barrett and Randy Orton have the match you would expect, with the amount of John Cena-related tension you can expect. It gets to the climax of the match, where Barrett has been dominant, but he can't quite put Orton away, so he demands Cena helps. After much thought and consideration...Cena attacks Barrett! You can even cut to Nexus looking on a monitor backstage, shocked.

Barrett is nailed with the Attitude Adjustment, and then Orton is up, and looks confused and shocked. He nails Barrett with an RKO, and goes into a weary cover. Cena counts, and Orton is still the WWE Champion. Cena screams stuff at Barrett after the match like "Not that easy!" and "You don't deserve to be champ!" Nexus run out, and they beat-down Cena. Orton runs in and has some RKOs for them. Orton respectfully (for Orton's character), gives Cena some time in the sun.

Look, none of us would be fooled; but marks would eat their hearts out. Cena just did what was right above his own benefit, and threw away his career to screw over Barrett. In some ways, there's something a bit "cooler" about Cena's honour in this regard, as it's not just a cliche he's spouting, but he is actually willing to sacrifice himself over falling into line behind someone like Barrett.

This can lead to Barrett either firing Cena, and Cena then randomly attacking Nexus; or Barrett can show some spine himself, and say that he won't fire Cena -- but he will face him at TLC and destroy him. If Barrett fires Cena, the General Manager can simply re-hire Cena, saying that Barrett forfeited control of him. The GM reveals himself to be Triple H, and as his last acts as GM, he orders Barrett vs. Cena and himself vs. Sheamus at TLC.

This also fits the storyline of David Otunga wanting to prove himself. If Wade Barrett fails in becoming WWE Champion, then he's got something to try and convince the others of. The Miz also has a shot at the WWE Title waiting, and having a face champion for that always works.

Some might think it makes Barrett look weak; but Barrett's loss is dirty as fuck, and he simply didn't take into consideration that Cena hates him so much that he would throw away his entire professional future just to stick it to Barrett. You can still have Barrett come out of it looking intelligent, pissed off and bad-ass. It also doesn't force you to create a new WWE Champion.

LOL I'm not sure if you're serious because the fingerpoke pretty much destroyed the WCW Title, it would do the same to the WWE Title.
