There’s talk that officials are satisfied with the rating for last night’s “old school” episode of RAW and will hold another one next year. As noted earlier, the show garnered a rating of 3.1.
I hope Papa Shango makes an appearance for one night to take on Goldust.

Alright thats enough dude, on Raw on monday night the best bit was the final segment aided by another in a long line of superb piper promos. The music, set, Hearing JR, Daniel Bryan vs Jack Swagger and the Rhodes family were good bits too. Apart from that it was about 150 mins of utter garbage, the 'legends' looked pathetic and way too old and it was sad seeing the majority of them, i felt embarrassed watching tatanka dancing with the other fools. And as for Tito Santana, i started watching in 1995, everything iv seen before 1992 looks old and shit and uninteresting, like many, i didnt know that was tito santana until his name popped up, just terrible.
Ya well, old school in a couple of year's time will be more like 1996-1999 so it will be more like the 15th year anniversary of Raw. We all know they got a long list of future endeavored wrestlers to contact, and I am not talking about "legends" either. I would be happy to see fucking DJ Gabriel if it has to come to it.

Doubt he'll leave his job as manager of Cheetah's.

If everything before 1992 is shit and uninteresting to you, by that idiotic logic you think Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat at Wrestlemania 3, which is widely considered the best match ever on US soil, is garbage. If you honestly think that, we should perma ban your ass.

Taking what he says was to serious, if he does not enjoy the older wrestling then so be it. You singled out ONE match out of an entire decade and said "Look at this match, so everything in that time was great".
And if you honestly think someone is going to get banned for not liking a period of wrestling you enjoyed, then you are hopeless.

watched that match two years ago actually, got fairly bored and switched off. its dated. watch it again and ignore the bs of 'i better like this cos people say its good'. austin vs rock at mania17 is one of the greatest matches, fuckin watch that shit again instead of ancient outdated drivel

They should do this again for Raw 1000.

Although his comment is pretty dumb, Savage/Steamboat is the most overrated match of all time. I can't say for sure without looking into it but I doubt it was even the best match of 1987.

Sounds like a plan, bring it on.
Great. WWE have yet another gimmick they can run into the ground.
Seriously though, I could do without a yearly dose of the "Unusual Suspects" they pull out for these things. Next year they'll have to grab some real "left-field" choices to grab my attention.

It would be nice as an annual thing. I wasn't too excited for all the legends that were gonna be on it because they usually use the same group of legends for anything like this (Piper, Slaughter, Snuka, etc.) and it's not really worth bringing bigger names like Austin and The Rock to a TV show like that. Austin and The Rock's return should be reserved for something bigger.
I would just like to see them use the old school presentation (set, theme, ring ropes, promos, etc.) once a year and just use current wrestlers.
I also hope they pick a better time for it.
The week before Survivor Series should not be used for this. Especially when they have booked 3 matches for the PPV!

I really hope they have another one next year. I’d have Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross call the whole show. I was thinking bringing in some 90’s talent and going all out. I’d love to see people like Papa Shango, Savio Vega, and Vader. The Undertaker is a must for this show.

How does this dude keep popping up and trying to get heat on an internet forum. Seriously. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU DO WITH YOUR LIFE? I don't get on here all that often anymore, but when I do, I like to contribute to the real world and not try to 'get over' on a message board.
I am with TL on this one.

I hope they do another one, thought it was great. What they need to do next year is convince USA to air an old episode of Silk Stalkings right after Raw
Instead of doing it once every so often. They should just use the old set as their future set, because it's way cool.
