He is really quite ok. He should do old spice commercials. They should make him a face and feud with miz that would be super

I feel like The Miz would be the face in a feud with Swagger, but I enjoy him as well. Don't be surprised to find that some people don't care for him, though.

Yeah I think Swagger has come into his own quite a bit... I never thought I would enjoy his promos... I think he could swing both face & heel...

I'm not his biggest fan, but he's a good worker that can get the job done.
I am pissed off how he was the world champion, and then literally overnight he disappears. Pretty inconsistent of WWE, and really did a lot of harm to Swagger's image in my opinion.

Why are you pissed off if you're not even a big fan of his?

Honestly, I don't think it's very crazy for someone to go from being a champion to being not so good (in a kayfabe sense). Think about it like a sport. Just because someone wins a Superbowl, they can still be shitty the next season. That doesn't mean they'll never be good again.

I've actually got the feeling Jack Swagger will be turning face after Survivor Series and feuding with Alberto Del Rio. I can see Del Rio bailing on the team again, Swagger being the one who cops it, so he decides to go after Del Rio. USA vs. Mexico.

The Soaring Eagle is gold and I feel that his absence caused Swagger to lose against Daniel Bryan.

Was never a fan, and I was completely perplexed at the decision to make him champ.
Not to say he's horrible, but I don't feel he's WWE or World championship material; his mic work is awkward, his ring work isn't all that memorable, I can't buy him as a genuine threat, and he just looks like a goof.
Definitely upper mid-card material, but as for being the main event or the face of the company? No.

When has he ever been the face of the company?

When has he ever been the face of the company?
He hasn't yet, I just don't think it is a possibility.
Not to say that that being the champion and the face of the company go hand-in-hand.
However, I do think that in order to be main event material, representing the company in that regard has to be a possibility, which is something I don't see in Swagger.

I think you can be a main eventer without being the face of the company. Especially as a heel. If your main event scene is only people who can be the face of the company, things are going to get boring and repetitive rather quickly.

I agree, I wouldn't care for WWE's face it was swagger.
Swagger has always been great, the only thing lacking is his promos (mostly due to the whiny tone of his voice, not his fault). He can play the comedy heel pretty well though, so he is like Kurt Angle in a lot of ways.
I was disappointed with how his title 'run' went, but at least hes still on TV every week in a high spot on the card putting on good matches.

I didn't say I don't like him, I just don't like him as much as others.
He was improving and had the potential to make something of his push, but after he lost the belt, he didn't even stay in the title hunt, he just completely disappeared to Superstars or something.
Nothing against Edge or Kane, but reasons like this are why we always get fresh faces in the title hunt, and then just like that, they're gone and we're back to the same people again.
It's kinda like Drew McIntyre. Again, I'm not his biggest fan, but the guy had the potential to develop and become better. They push him so far, drop him, and we're back to square one.
I pray they don't do this to Wade Barrett, coz then we're back to Cena and Orton all over again.

Swagger is still in a much better position now then he was before he won the belt.
Before he won the belt, he was truly disappeared, and jobbing to Santino Marella. Then he won the belt out of nowhere leading everybody to go WTF.
He has since lost it, and yes, he has gone way back down on the card, but not as low as he was before. He is a "star" now.

For your benefit, you should probably know that saying "I'm not his biggest fan" will be conceived by most people as "I don't like him".
I love me some Swagger.
How anyone can say his promos aren't at least good is beyond me. As champ (and after) he has made a great "goofy heel" with bringing all his childhood/school achievements to the ring for promo purposes, wearing the "King" get-up and now with the Swagger Soaring Eagle. He pulls off the "I'm an idiot but I don't now it" gimmick just as well as Amgle did.
That said, his MitB win and subsequent title run was seriously out of the bue but I'm glad it happened.

The Soaring Eagle is the best thing he has going for him right now, ever since losing the belt

I am a big fan of Swagger. I just think they gave him the belt too soon. He should have held on to the MITB for a little longer. At least a month.
I think he has everything needed to be a big star in the coming years. The only thing I can not figure out is, is his heat real heat or is it x-pac heat?

I don't understand why they didn't just put the World Heavyweight Title on him at WrestleMania. Would have made his cash-in stand out more. But yeah, it does feel like Swagger has dropped down a little bit, but I think a lot of this is just "due-paying." Swagger is one of those guys that has got size and ability, so the WWE probably don't want him to get "Lesnar syndrome" and leave because he gets too much too soon.
Swagger will soar again.

I think Swagger is the best out of the new wave of wrestlers for the future that they have (excluding CM Punk). He's a complete natural in the ring, and I think he's been great on the mic since day one.
His WHC run was very disappointing. It started off great (even though as Noid said, he should have won at Mania), then went over Orton in a No Holds Barred match. Then, he couldn't even go over in a segment against Big Show, let alone a match. And finally, he jobbed it out to Rey in a 4 man match that had zero build, which led to him being left off of the Summerslam card. Why bother giving a guy a title run and not even feature him on 2nd biggest show of the year?
There's no doubt that Swagger's gonna get another opportunity because of how good he is, but his trial run did nothing for him. I also hate how he's been given the ankle lock. I mean shit, he had enough Angle characteristics, now we're giving him his finishers?

Swagger's promo's were awesome, especially during his feud with The Big Show.

Mark my words: Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio at TLC. Alright, maybe don't mark them, but I can see it happening.
