Interesting so far. I am trying not to roll my eyes like a smark at whatever Hogan says, but it seems like a huge PR pity party since he is apparently "broke".

I bet when Hogan's depressed he watches Wrestlemania 3

He is currently comparing drinking a gallon of Captain Morgan 100 to drinking gasoline. They are recreating his suicide attempt with him actually acting it out.
Jesus...I am feeling bad for Terry Bollea. A call from Laila Ali about American Gladiators saved his life.

I thought that Sun article was just a joke (this is the same paper that says Hillary Clinton adopted an alien). So Hogan really did try to commit suicide?
James Steele
11-17-2010, 10:31 PM
Apparently. He drank a gallon of Captain Morgan 100 took some Xanax (the big ones, they call em Totem Poles in wrestling) and held a gun to his head and played with it in the mirror for hours until Laila Ali called him about American Gladiators.
Also, his girlfriend looks and sounds just like his daughter...fuckin' creepy. Nick looks like a fucking prick.

^LOL was just going to say that about his new girlfriend. wtf.

Right when its commercial I change the channel to A&E and low and behold, the first thing I hear is him praising TNA/burying WWE. He's so bitter

I just love how he is building this up like he is coming back for a fucking 1-year world tour of 60-minute ironman matches.
Can it really hurt you that much to throw shitty punches?

Vince McMahon might need to watch his ass if Hogan gets TNA rolling because Hogan might be able to beat Vince at the "ruthless businessman" game.
James Steele

Actually, no he couldn't. I can only imagine what McMahon would do to Hogan and TNA if they ever became a threat.

Van Hammer had a wrestling school not too far from where I live.
Also, the idea that the shitty American Gladiators remake saved Hogan's life is crazy. It didnt even last a whole season.

Too bad they showed, and talked too much of, the "behind the scenes" of the iMPACT Zone. I don't understand why TNA feels like making everything "so real", and breaking kayfabe, is the way to go.
And about Hogan, he doesn't deserve this, man. He deserves so much more...if only he wasn't as much of an "Ego Maniac" as he is a "Hulka Maniac"...

To me, it looked like a pilot. As if A&E threw it out there to see how it did, and then if it did well, make it a series. It didn't look like a one time documentary, didn't have that feel. And since A&E has a couple reality shows, it adds to the thought that it could be a possible series.

I initially rolled by eyes at everything, and at the end with all the TNA BS. But, holy shit at him trying to kill himself. I can believe it seeing as how he literally had his entire world crashing.

Yeah, but what I find interesting is that everytime a celebrity talks about "when they tried to commit suicide", it always ends up the same way: there they are, with the gun, about to do it, and then something happens, whether it's a call or whatever, and they decide not to carry out the suicide.
