Tonight is the 20th anniversary of the 1990 Survivor Series. This event marked the television debut of the Undertaker. The longest lasting "profession" gimmick in sports entertainment. Share your thoughts on the last 20 years of destruction, or should it be called two decades of destruction?

It also marked the debut of the Gobbley Gooker!!!!

It also featured the Grand Finale Match of Survival. The survivors from all the face teams faced off with all of the survivors from the heel teams in one final big Survivor Series Match of Survival.

Why do you think they never did this match ever again? I thought it was a lot of fun as an eight year old.

I remember watching the event on the Armed Forces Network in Frankfurt, Germany. I was at awe when I first saw him. Although he was counted out, I knew he was going to be interesting.

I remember when Mark Calloway debuted in 1984 in Lima, Ohio at the Ventian Blinds YMCA and wrestled Yucatan Jack Perez to a 10 minute draw. He then went on to Korea and put on excellent matches with Yakusha Inuyahsa and Miko Von Puff. He actually used the "gogoplata" there in a modified form known as the "Scissored Leg Sleeper" according to Japanese magazine SLAMO WHAMMO!

I could be wrong, but I believe this was the 2nd TV debut of the Undertaker...I seen a video on youtube of Undertaker being debuted as Kane The Undertaker w/ Brother Love as his manager few months before his actual Nov debut...

Wouldn't Hulk Hogan be the longest profession gimmick? And HBK the longest uninterrupted gimmick? He became HBK in 92 and never looked back...

What was Hogan's profession per se? I'm talking about people like Duke the Dumpster Drose, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, Issac Yankem DDS, and Irwin R. Shyster otherwise known as IRS!
