I was just looking at the list of RAW special episodes on wiki along with the ratings and the tribue to Owen Hart had the highest ranking with 7.2 ( the second being the Brand Extension Draft with 5.4).

So is this the highest rating for any wrestling show?

RAW 4/13/98 (Night after Wrestlemania 14) Got an 8.1 Rating.

Lou Thesz v Rikidozan in 1957 got a 87.0 in Japan, but no-one gives a shit about that.

Strangely enough, the highest rated Nitro I found was a 6.0 on August 31st 1998. RAW wasnt on to give it any competition

That's the kind of info I'd expect from DLVH84.

not sure where you're getting that information... my sources tell me it was a 4.6 that night. can't see how it would possibly be a 8.1 when they were being beaten by WCW in ratings week in and week out.

Sorry fellas you're all way off with your stats. The highest televised ratings for the WWE was an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event on March 14, 1987. That episode garnered a rating of 11.6.
