So over the past few months, I have realized that there is more music out there that calms me down than I thought...most of it is remixes and covers of Original Final Fantasy music, among others.

So it got me curious, what kind of music calms you down?

Ill post the first one that I always listen to when im about to crash...

Some of Mike Oldfield's music is pretty relaxing, and his album 'Tres Lunas' is pretty much advertised as a relaxation album.

I find Massive Attack's Mezzanine album pretty relaxing. I rarely listen to it though.

The soft-rock version of Aladdin's a Whole New World is very relaxing. v

M83 (not so slow, but they can do some great synth chill songs)
Carbon Baseed Lifeforms (relaxing to the core)
Chicane (again amazing to chill to. His 1st, 2nd albums are the ones to chill to most, Somersault and Giants have some decent ones on there).

Agree with Boards of Canada also.

I know it's U2 and people may hate it just because of that, but I find the song extremely relaxing and calming.....it's in collaboration with Brian Eno.
