FROM THE FRONT DASHING PAGE!

– According to sources, Randy Orton suffered an injury to his knee on last week’s RAW from Orlando, FL. This is the same night Orton lost the WWE title to The Miz after he cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase. According to the source, Nexus member Husky Harris kicked Orton in the knee, thus causing the injury. Orton was kept off WWE weekend live events as a result of this. The injury caused quite the scare among WWE management as the last thing they need right now is another top star injured.

What do you guys think? Any backlash at all?

That is purely accidental, and such shit has happened before. I doubt anything will happen as a result of this.

Are they sure that it was legit? There's sometimes so little selling in matches that it may have confused people backstage.

Here we go with another 7 page thread about how Randy Orton is a dick to guys who bump him too hard/don't sell/etc etc.

if they didn't get a new mat when he injured himself punching it they won't get rid of husky

Fat wrestlers are a dime a dozen. You can only have one mat.

I was almost certain the mat would be future endeavored after that incident, woulda been nice to only see the top of the wrestlers heads and watch them trip over all the cables, tables, sledgehammers and hornswoggle's as they tried to fight. A move off the top woulda been nuts

As long as the pig keeps his shirt on, I'm fine with him, but please if he is going to wrestle with his shirt off, kick him out the fucking door. This isn't Animal Farm. Thanks.

what is it that Kofi did wrong again?

Shadrick
12-01-2010, 03:08 PM
Apparently Kofi missed a spot for the punt, and kept getting up for the RKO, so Orton gave him a vicious one.

But we dont know what REALLY happened. It seems like theres a botch in every Orton match and its never his fault....hmmm.

I thought I read that Kolfi was supposed to lay there while Orton set up for the RKO but he just got up, which didn't allow Orton to "stalk" him prior to hitting the finish.

Hard to blame Orton for this one if Kolfi did in fact miss the spot.

You can blame Orton for acting like a stupid twat on national television.

Got an issue? Fine. But keep it off TV, STUPID!!

Nobody but people over-analyzing it on the internet would have thought that was out of place. If Kofi was in fact supposed to take a punt but Orton switched it to an RKO because of Kofi's positioning then Orton deserves praise for covering it so well.

Bingo. Orton can be like a kid in high school drama breaking character as soon as anything goes slightly wrong. It wasn't even a noticeable botch until Orton made it obvious.

Also, the funniest thing about it is that Randy Orton has had the absolute WORST miscue I've ever seen on WWE television. That whole incident when he got into the ring with a steel chair, and realised that it wasn't time yet, so he quickly and unexplainably exited the ring without doing anything.

That being said, I think Husky Harris' job is pretty safe. His daddy is in the company, freak accidents happen, and no real harm was done to Orton. Although, with Nexus members seemingly being written off at any given moment...

No, that's you and the other experts reading into something that may or not be there. He says stupid twice. That's hardly turning to the camera and declaring it's all fake and Kofi's messed up. I doubt 95% of people watching on TV even noticed it, let alone thought twice about it.

It turns out there was something. Orton pointed it out. If it were nothing, then Orton deserves credit for looking intense, etc. Otherwise, Orton was just unprofessional. Orton was seemless in adapting to go for the RKO, but he drew attention to it.

I thought you were going to go with the Complete WHIFF on the RKO on Jericho that one time. Where he then hits the rope and hits it.

You guys need to stop reading the front page, I swear. The knee injury wasn't even legit...

While Randy Orton isn't suffering from a knee injury — as indicated on television — he is reportedly banged up and dealing with a strained neck. The injury is not serious, but company officials figured given the storyline where he was beaten down, they could give him a week off to recuperate his neck.

I've looked and looked for it, but I cannot find one. I'm not even sure when it was. Orton has surely come a long way since then. But I find it absolutely ridiculous that Orton has such a short temper with things when he himself was not perfect.

I really don't think Husky will be released over this, for the record. Especially since Orton wasn't hurt (although he wasn't with Mr. Kennedy, either); but Darren Young was booted from the group, as was Michael Tarver. The very worst thing I see happening for Harris is to be beaten up by Cena, and then not seen for a little bit while he gets a bit "riper." And I don't even think that will happen.
