None of us are talking about this but I think we should.

I get a Battlefield/Halo vibe from the gameplay. I'm not familiar with the dev so I'd love to try it out first in a demo. Could be a decent diversion until Battlefield 3.

I just watched the multiplayer interview video for this. Looks good, and the 32 player games sound like fun. Definitely going keep a tab on this.

Like the premise, tend to automatically dislike games/FPS' that are all about aliens, 'monsters', 300 years into the future stuff and all that bollocks. I am interested.

The devs made a mod for BF 1942, then THQ snapped them up and they made the very average Frontlines: Fuel of War.
I wish them all the best, because I like to see these little devs get to make big games, but without something properly unique, I'm betting it'll be another very average FPS.

I thought Frontlines was pretty good, and honestly, an underrated FPS.

I thought this was the new battlefeild game. Havent heard anything about it.

ok so watching the videos it does look like battlefeild/Call of duty which to me is a good thing i enjoy both games. However I really hope there is a demo out before release to see how it plays. More players usually means a greater chance of lag.

5/10 from Destructoid. Biggest complaint was that the multiplayer was tacked on.

I'm totally into the concept, it looks awesome.
The issue is, I don't do multiplayer for... well, anything really. And the game's seven chapters can be ripped through in a very short 5 hours with no real replay value unless you're a trophy/gamerscore hunter. I'm not.
So, 5 hours is not worth $66 to me. Which is sad, because as I said, the premise looks badass.

Reviews on metacritic don't look all that much better. The ones that like it are the same ones that like every game that comes out.
I was hyped when the first trailer came out till I saw that THQ logo at the end. All they do right these days is Saint's Row.

Most of the hype for this game was due to the story of N. Korea somehow taking over all of Korea and then invading the US.
Not surprised the campaign/solo mode is very short since its been typical for most FPS games for years.

Never really trusted a good chunk of games that came out of the THQ house. Darksiders, Raw vs. Smackdown series, and Saints Row are really their only home runs, IMO.
Looks like I was smart to pass on this.

Ah well. Those looking forward to it can pick up Okamiden for DS or Yakuza 4 for PS3 to console themselves

THQ's stock dropped 12% today due to poor reception and reviews for this game.
Too early to get sales numbers but it might be decent for the opening week or month. The biggest problem is THQ spent a lot of money on this game especially in marketing and the stock owners having no faith in this game regaining the money spent on the project.

Rented it. It's alright. Feels more like a mix of Medal of Honor and Battlefield.
