I was listening to Pandora on my phone and got an Onyx station.. I saw while typing that in that Onyx and Biohazard was a suggestion and being an oldskool hardcore fan, I used that one..
Anyway, the first couple of songs reminded me of shit you dig and I wanted your opinion on these bands..
The Dust Junkys
Hed p.e.
Hed p.e. sounded like one of the ICP dudes doing more metalish shit.. Dust Junkys sounded like Southern rock with rap flavor..
I dug both of them..

I've never heard The Dust Junkys, but hed (p.e.) was one of my favorite bands in high school. I've seen them live once, and they were great. That was back in like 2000 (on 4/20, to be exact).
Their self titled album was pretty good. It was hard and unrefined, but it was good. Broke was their best release. You may have heard the song "Hey Bartender" on the radio around that time. Very good album. If you listen to them at all, listen to that.
The album after that (the name fails me now) was also pretty good. They toned down the harder edge though and wrote more...mature songs, I guess. I'll find that name for you in a bit.
The next album I remember from them was called Only In Amerika or something, and it was a huge disappointment. All of the maturity and growth they had been showing disappeared and they went back to sophomoric lyrics and sub par guitar riffs. The first track on the album is about having sex with an underage girl, where MCUD refrains "if fucking you's wrong, I don't wanna be right". HUGE let down.
I stopped listening to them after that.

Blackout was the name of that second album I was talking about. That shitty third album I mentioned was back in 2004, and it appears they've put out a few more albums since then. Part of me wants to look into them a little bit, but I dunno.

Depending on how interested you are, I can post some of my favorite tracks. Just let me know.
