It's one of the freebie games presented by Doritos. Matchmaking is fucked up, so I haven't played any real matches, but tag teaming with a friend is fun as fuck. It's only got three maps, it's fairly straightforward, but it's awesome for the price tag.

The idea is simple for those who haven't heard of it. Each "team" consists of a driver and a shooter. The driver races around a course trying to come in first. The shooter uses turrets placed around the track to shoot enemy racers and other turrets.

It's like MNC in the sense that it's more fun than you should have with such a simple concept.

Video shows both shooter (first) and driver (second) gameplay.

Be awesome to try this against actual humans, though, as the computer AI is pretty easy to dominate.

I had no idea it was free. I just thought Crash Course was free. DLing it now. Looked pretty fun in the video.

I didn't either. Friend of mine told me to DL it last night.

If there was a bigger version with more tracks and shit, I could see buying it.

They're working on matchmaking, so it should be functional eventually.

A good idea for games like HM and Crash Course would be to maybe charge for cheap DLC. The game is free but something like a level editor for Crash Course could be charged at 200 MSP.

Actually, I think that would be a great model, period. Kind of like the money in F2P MMOs.
