is there any information out there as to what pro wrestlers make these days?

i'd be interested in seeing what WWE stars, TNA stars, and also indy workers in ROH and such make with salary or per booking, however they're paid.

i know there's that list of WWE salaries circa 2005, but it's unverified and i'm not entirely sure i believe the numbers.

Unless a wrestler willingly gives out this information (and isn't bullshitting) or somebody from the office "accidently" leaks it there's pretty much no way to confirm anything.

Indy bookings vary depending on how well known the guy is, how big the promotion is, if they will need to be flown in etc.

I remember a low/mid card guy signed a $70k a year contract a cpl years ago, cant remember who though, but thats only the minimum guaranteed figure, house shows ppv and merchandise rights make it a good bit more supposedly.

I'm sure there was a news article on the front page a couple of weeks ago that mentined FCW salaries. It said the wages vary between $500-$700 a week, depending on who the wrestler is, where they are on the card, how long they've been there etc.

Thats a good link. However I'm curious, it seems like salaries aren't that much different than they were ten even fifteen years ago. If I remember correctly, in one of Nash & Hall's shoot vids for RF they were talking about payscales in the early 90's.... they specifically mentioned I believe it was Summerslam or Survivor Series where they made 35,000 each for the show, and HBK made 50,000 for the show. And that was what circa 1994? And thats just one PPV...

So you'd have to assume that salaries have gone up substantially since then...

something to consider is that even back in 1994 the WWF faced competition from WCW which meant they had to pay competitive salaries to keep the top talent around.

today, WWE has no viable competition so the wrestlers don't get that luxury.
