"Jeff Hardy nearly lost his custom made Immortal Championship. The belt cost $18,000 to make. The TNA World Heavyweight Champion noted last night on Twitter that he had just received it back from Southwest Airlines."

Fuckin crackhead. I wish they never returned it.

I'm sure it was just lost luggage, not on Hardy's part.

Though I wouldn't be surprised to hear it come out that it was sitting in the terminal or something and he just forgot it.

Cannot wait for some more hot threads about people on the road almost having luggage problems.

Ted DiBiase nearly lost the Million Dollar Belt once. Lay off Jeff. I still can't figure out when TPWW suddenly got so anti-drug.

I'm sure the Southwest Airlines' employees upon seeing that belt were like "Wanna bet a junkie's gonna come and claim it?"

This guy just gives everyone more and more reasons as to why WWE just let him go, and never really built him up to where they could've, as Champion.

Everytime he does something like this, he makes Vince McMahon look more and more like a genius.

You'd have to be on drugs to lose something at the airport. There's just no other possible explanation.

I hate Hardy with a passion, but implying that this story has to do with Jeff's reported drug use is ludicrous.

I'm not anti-drug, I'm pro wellness-policy.

Believe me, this was Jeff's idea and Dixie went along with it. If anyone's to blame for this belt, it's Dixie.

The Million Dollar Championship isn't the World Heavyweight Championship.

Chris Jericho has completely forgotten about the Intercontinental belt and left it in his hotel room more than once, instead having to use the Light Heavyweight, Womens and I'm pretty sure a Tag title at various times. This kind of clear continuous incompetence deserves some variety of punishment.

Yet, he is the most decorated IC champion of all time. I think having to come down to the ring with the Lightheavyweight championship and the woman's title is punishment enough.

Why wouldn't you put the belt in your carry-on?

Is that in his book?

CSL

Don't think so, I'm not sure his first book covered any of his WWF/E run. Dunno though, I have owned it for about 2 years and haven't read a page.

Didn't think a belt that ugly would have cost $18,000 to make.

It was written on the internet so it's definitely correct.

Wrestling belts should be considered weapons and not allowed on airplanes in the first place...

CSL

Huh? When?

He used the Light Heavyweight title as the IC title around about 2000, maybe 2001, ditto the (potential) Tag belt. He used the Womens belt during his last 'run' as IC champ.

I'm pretty sure they made light of it on WWE.com.
