Benoit SHOULD be on that list, but we all knew he wouldn't be.
No need to talk in spoilers. Only did that for the first post so people could watch the whole thing before reading the thread.

I guess all those guys are good choices. Surprised the Iron Sheik wasn't mentioned.
The only ones I have a problem with are Slaughter and Jericho, because I never really saw them as submission guys. They're more about one move than overall submission prowess.

sergeant slaughter? didn't he only have the cobra clutch?

MY LIST
---------------
10. Tazz
9. Ric Flair
8. Chris Benoit
7.
6.
5. William Regal
4. Dean Malenko
3. Bret Hart
2. Daniel Bryan
1. Kurt Angle
I left 2 blank, couldn't think of any more :/ . However I do agree with the majority of the names on the list, I just tweeked the order a bit to better suit my opinion. I'm also not too familiar with Bob Backlund's work, I wasn't watching wrestling back when he was around. Also never really viewed Slaughter as that much of a phenomonal technical wrestler, despite the Cobra Clutch being an awesome submission. But yeah, that's my top 10 (-2).

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm not much of a Slaughter expert.:-\

Looks like a solid list even though he-who-will-not-be-named-in-wwe isn't on it.

replace Sgt. Slaughter with Benoit, then move him up to #3 and I completely agree.....

Interesting list. Surprised that Tazz made it. I guess opening his finisher school is something the WWE actually supports.
I remember just recently they put Jack Swagger's Ankle Lock really high on a list of submission maneuvers -- but he didn't make the list.

I'd say Bret.
This move was awesome:

It sucks with the whole Benoit thing because he would have made this category really interesting. especially with his history with the Hart family.
