Not surprised by this news.

He'll always be the "Stone Cold Steve Austin" of MMA

This sucks big time. I actually thought he looked impressive in his last fight. I was kinda expecting a Chuck/Tito 3 just for UFC to plug that to the moon.

Tito makes fun of Koscheck telling everyone that he came up to him at a party basically kissing his ass, saying he dyed his hair blonde because he did

Yeah, I thought for sure that's where they were going after Ortiz lost at UFC 121. Both coming off three straight losses and fighting each other one more time would've made perfect sense. They could've even had it as the main event at UFN 24 instead of Lil Nog/Ortiz. Huge ratings for Spike TV, I bet.

Tito deserves to be mentioned with and given the same deference as Liddell and Couture as a pioneer in the sport. In the early days it was pretty much Chuck and Tito on the cover of anything UFC/MMA related and although Tito may be douchey at times, I disagree with the way Dana dismisses him while kissing Randy and Chuck's asses.

Better he retires before he develops full on Parkinson's or something. His speech is already pretty slurred.

Good luck to him in whatever he does next.

First MMA fight I saw was his first fight against Tito Ortiz. Amazing.

How does it suck? The guy is developing a serious glass chin, and he's getting out before he gets seriously fucked up. All the props in the world for what he's done for the sport, but MMA isn't really a game you stick around in once you start to go downhill.

^^^ Not to mention he was fighting in probably the most stacked division in UFC, there isnt a need for him anymore.

May as well post this here for the benifit of those who didn't see it, he's a video my brother showed me of Chuck Liddell singing Van Halen - Jump with Steel Panther after the found him texting in the crowed. Other than Chuck Liddell they had Pink on more then one occassion, The guy from Yellowcard(don't know his name) with Kelly Clarkson(yes the American Idol winner) singing Journeys Don't Stop Believing while she was drunk, and Superbads McLovin'.
