Yeah, I found out about that while looking up LL Cool J's work, wanted to see what "rock'n'roll" has he ever done to get nominated for the hall of fame.

is this the series with actors reading from the journals these people wrote? if so then yes, it is a great show

I watched 4 or 5 episodes on the Canadian History Television website back in the Fall.

Looks like they've dropped it from the online video section now. :n:

It contains colour footage never before shown. I recall one episode dealing with a battle on a Pacific island showing some disturbing footage of dead Japanese soldiers - like, not "freshly" dead.
