One of the biggest problems with Matt Hardy is that he is stuck in 1998. Matt hasnt changed his look or his gimmick. The best Matt Hardy we saw was when he was hanging out with Shannon Moore as Version 1 and he was getting over on it I think but they gave up on it for whatever reason (I think cuz Jeff messed up and they needed a Hardy to sell merchandise). But his current balding mullet, stuk in 1998 look is definetely not working.

Matt Hardy and Jerry Lynn seem like the most obvious choices. Anyone else would really be a let-down. Someone on the existing TNA roster didn't need to be a surprise. It just depends on how Lynn's injuries are doing, and exactly when Hardy was released.

Abyss and/or Rob Terry will probably play a factor in the outcome, because it makes no sense to debut a guy with a loss here. Especially if it is Hardy.
