Was watching the APA's short-lived return on YouTube (below) and while it wasn't great, it made me miss them. They were pretty damn badass and fun to watch.

I'm sure jobber tag teams of all varieties we're glad to see them split up. I bet they all shit bricks after they found out that the APA was coming back to the Smackdown brand. Stiff clothelines from Hell, Spinebusters and Dominators. They were a lot of fun to watch but I'd probably rather have root canal surgery then have a tag team match with these two big mofos.

I didn't like how everybody thought that the ending scene of APA was an homage to Cheers. They just turned the open sign to closed that never happened in Cheers. That happens all the time in stores all the time with the flipping of the signs.

I enjoyed them.... they weren't the best in the ring or on the mic, but they were entertaining..... The year 2000 would not have been the same without them.....

3 amazing tag teams in the same promo. Fuck I miss the days when tag teams were relevant and not thrown together.

Let me guess: You watched that shit video of APA coming out to Batman's music in the 100k thread and saw this suggested video?

Shows what you know. I watched that shitty APA Batman video then went to YouTube and searched "APA Return".

we all know the real reason for the 100k thread for posts "not thread worthy" is so you can turn them into threads

I remember just before Royal Rumble 2000 when they had a match/beat the shit out of New Age Outlaws and Bradshaw snapped the top rope then strangled Billy Gunn with it.

Hadnt been done b4 and was so f'kin cool.

I think the APA is a much better tag team in hindsight than it was appreciated for at the time. That's because at their height, there were 3 or 4 other legendary tag teams in their prime.
APA was never really the dominant or big name tag team, and looking back on it they really could have been in most other time periods.

Nostalgia is running wild. I loved this gimmick of wrestlers for hire. Probably could work today. Just get Brodus Clay and some other big ass dude to do it

I liked the Acolytes.

Meh. No nostalgia here. Never cared at all for the APA, which isn't surprising because I never really cared at all for Bradshaw or Farooq as singles wrestler either. Just a couple of brawlers, and not very good ones at that. I never marked for them or truly enjoyed any of their matches, and for the life of me I can't remember a single "Great match" that involved the APA. There was a time when I thought including them in a TLC match for the Tag Titles could've been really cool, if only to see some spinebusters and dominators through tables.

Short-haired APA Bradshaw looks so wrong.

APA: yet another example of the success that can be had when you pair a couple of guys going nowhere in the singles ranks and actually let them run with a gimmick instead of "here's guy x and guy y". While I wasn't too big on them with the whole "Undertaker's Satanic enforcers" deal they started out with in The Ministry of Darkness, I liked how they evolved that into poker playing, beer drinking, cigar smoking brawling tag-team for hire, who'se office consisted of a card table and a prop door. Wasn't as magical as the NAO, but a damn good 180 from the guys who initally debuted in the 'E as the bland Justin Hawk Bradshaw and the blue foam gladiator that was Farooq Asaad.

"You're welcome."

By far my favourite tag team of all time. Actually liked them better as the Acolytes than the A
PA

I liked them a lot as a tag team even during the time of the Dudleys-Hardys-E&C mega feud.

Kind of amazing how before their teaming up, Farooq was bigger name of the group but once they actually split, Bradshaw rose to fame with the "JBL" character while the crowd still loved Farooq's "Dam" skits.

APA was awesome. Not the greatest in-ring duo, but entertaining and fun.

Wow, I have no idea how I forgot about the APA. Didnt care for them as the Acolytes, but once they started the APA gimmick I loved them. Fun to watch.

Didn't mind them, was too busy marking for the Hardys/E&C/Dudleys at their 'peak'. Looking back, they were fun, some of the backstage stuff was great, they had decent enough matches, they looked great, I used to have nightmares about Farrooq's spinebuster and JBL is a wrestling god. So yeah, 'I enjoyed them'.

I didn't like them too much at the time, because i was far more smarky back then and only liked cruiserweights and technical wrestlers but now i realise how good they were and what a high point it was for tag team wrestling back then.
