Simple topic, let's talk about it.

That first quote. "Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories." I saw that promo and I HAD to see that movie. I was/am a Goldust mark, so when I saw that promo (his first promo for his return) I was simply captivated. So I went to the video rental store, rented that movie, and I have loved it ever since.

What introduced you to your favorite movie?

I read about Stanley Kubrick and watched all his movies (A Clockwork Orange) and my friend who worked with me at the video store I worked at told me to watch the other (Happiness).

Happiness?

Don't think I've ever heard of such Kubrick movie.

Phantom of the Opera (the 2004 one).

My girlfriend at the time really wanted to see it. I really wasn't interested, but did the boyfriendly thing and watched it with her. She actually got really bored half way through, but I couldn't believe how much I was enjoying it.

Also, I actually knew a lot of the music, just never knew it was PotO, so that's probably why I enjoyed it more.

by the way, when I first came into this thread, I read the title "What introduced you to your fav movie," but when I came in and saw a Goldust video, I thought I misread "movie" for "move" So for a second I thought you wanted us to post a wreslting promo that introduced us to our fav move.

I certainly found a lot of movies I love through TPWW. From the rate the last movie thread and just other general threads I've been able to find a bunch of interesting movies.

But for my favorite film, Harold & Maude, I first saw that taking a Cult Films class in college. It was the one film we watched in that class that I never saw. I was blown away by it, went back to my dorm room and bought it right away.

I'd see the trailer for it every single time I watched Rookie of the Year on VHS and it was eventually on TV.

Go away spammer. Somebody ban bigpig. It's winter dumbass why would people be golfing now anyways? Snowgolf?

My mom introduced me to Star Trek and bought the first six on VHS for one Christmas. So, she introduced me to my favorite movie (Wrath of Khan.) My first Christmas present as a kid to her was Star Trek: Generations. God what a shitty movie that was lol.

Was flipping channels in the dorm common room and caught the climactic scene. Was a broadcasting major and knew I had to see the whole thing:
