Old Eminem vs New Eminem
Basically not gonna count his Infinite stuff, just gonna go from the Slim Shady LP up to Recovery. For those that don't know, Eminem is clean and sober now (after a brief relapse) so his new shit has a more uplifting theme to it, compared to his earlier crazy drug induced shit.
Old Eminem

gonna list his albums after he got discovered by Dre
-Slim Shady LP
-Marshal Mathers LP
-8 Mile Soundtrack (first introduction to 50 Cent)
-The Eminem Show (all produced without the help of Dr. Dre. This is considered to be Em's favorite album)
-Encore (considered to be his worst album)
<< Went into rehab around this time. Had a brief relapse right after>>
-Relapse (Em didn't consider this good enough)
-Recovery (basically the 2nd shot or Relapse pt. 2)
I think his career has finally come full circle (just like Shawn Michaels, for example). His Infinite stuff was pretty uplifting, then when he became famous, all the negative aspects came into play, but he finally came and turned his life personal life around with Recovery. He should retire on a high note IMO
