This is pretty cool IMO.

I'm impressed but, I wish the turtle face looked better.

Loads better than the suit they wore for the live-action show.

I like the face actually. I would have gone a different direction with this little short though. I'd have The Foot take her to the roof and Raphael takes all of them down under the cover of night. This way you don't really see him but only as a shadow or silhouette until the end we see him much better in the light of dusk then he hurries back into the sewers before people see a turtle running around in daylight.

I think the point is that Raph is saving someone who thinks he's a monster. On the one hand he still wants to do what is right but, he is pissed that he is looked on as worse than the bad guys.

I see that but my point is that you can still show all that in a different, better setting. I think it would have more suspense, mystery and impact if they didn't show him in such great detail until he reveals himself to her at the end. In that moment his instinct is to help her up so he gets closer but she can finally see him and is shocked and scared even more than when The Foot busted in. Simply put, I'd change the first 2 mins and 15 seconds. It's pretty good but I'm just stating my opinion on how I'd like to see it.

Could they only afford one turtle costume?

Kind of weird the youtube account is fairly new and has only that one video. It also has a link to this website http://fightthefoot.com/

I dig seeing the live action Turtles, and fan film fun, but this is pretty drawn out and empty. Just sort of overly prententious student film trailer.
Seems like it's setting up the most momunmental, life-changing story of all time, but gives nothing.

But now I'm nitpicking a fan-made youtube of a Ninja Turtle. Just strikes me as painfully pretentious.
The chick is a poor actor. The foot clan should kick more ass, and the city should look more like Hell's Kitchen and not sunrise in Montreal or something.
Is this going to be a real thing?

I saw some fan-made Ninja Turtles graphic novel being made a while ago, and it looked pretty sweet.

Freddy vs Ghostbusters was the most fun fan-film I have ever seen. Did a great job of being fun and true to what it should be, and looked decent, on no budget and there was nothing pretentious or distracting about it.

That was really impressive for being a fan-made/amateur short. I wish TMNT would get their shot in a live-action big screen version again.

I would love to see a live-action TMNT movie again, the original was great. I think I'll watch it again later today. :)

See, I thought it was more "too by the numbers." Rather than pretentious, it just felt like they were following the standard story with no real underpinnings. The former isn't bad, but paire with the latter it makes it kinda...Bleh.
