....besides in between the Rumble and WrestleMania. Do you agree?

100% disagree, although the Rumble winner should be forced to pick which brands title he goes after and only the other brand should have a chamber with a US/IC title chamber on top.

I think I agree just so there could be more time to build up a feud between the two guys you KNOW will be in the Wrestlemania main event.

Disagree. With the chamber match in the middle of the two PPVs, it creates some unpredictability as to who'll walk into Mania as champ. If you just threw a random PPV in there I think it would seem to telegraphed as to what'll happen.

Or you could help build up your Wrestlemanina Main event.

You can do both at the same time. SD's elimination chamber did a fantastic job of that last year...Jericho and Edge were already feuding since the Rumble, and it allowed Jericho to get the title while also building the Michaels/Taker feud.
Likewise, the Raw chamber fueled the HHH/Sheamus fire by having H pin Sheamus, AND continued the Batista/Cena feud by letting 'Tista worm his way into a title win after the hard fought match by Cena.
Both matches had some unpredictable happenings, and they both furthered the big WM feuds for the year.

The problem is though that the result of the chamber could become predictable due to current feuds, ie Jericho winning last year to face Edge at WM.
Like if say Punk wins the rumble, expect Cena to win the title at Elimination Chamber, and vice versa.

status quo
It is a nice "reset button" for WrestleMania, but I feel it makes the build to Mania not as concrete as it should be and shortens the build for at least one title match.
It should be SummerSlam's equivalent of the Royal Rumble. Put it in June or July with one chamber match. That chamber match is for a title match at SummerSlam.
Either way, SummerSlam really does need something like this. Whether the Chamber or King of the Ring.

I wouldn't mind if EC was in December, so then the Rumble is looked at as a desperate, last chance to main event WrestleMania. Even though it's a fun RTWM show, it decreases value from the Rumble. It's like "Ah shit, I lost the Rumble and my chance to fight for the belt, but me and 11 other guys still have a chance to fight for it anyway".
Regardless it's a fun PPV, but there are definitely both sides to the argument. Like others have mentioned, it rushes feuds, and at times it can also be predictable if you're actually tuning into the program.

In theory I have no probems having the Elimination Chamber PPV in between Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, but I personally think it could be even better to have it as the PPV after Wrestlemania rather than having the usual Wrestlemania Rematches PPV. It could be a great way to solidify a new face's championship reign if they won at Wrestlemania, and could also be a good way to end a heel's title reign if they retained at Wrestlemania.

I enjoy this idea very much.....

I think they should limit the chamber to having just one Chamber match. It will be co-branded and the winner will recieve the other WrestleMania title shot.
Whenever the Royal Rumble winner decides the other guy gets the other title shot.

You could have that same predictability in a regular match...at least with the Chamber they allow a shadow of doubt, and can have wrestlers go at each other without blowing the Wrestlemania 1 on 1 payoff.

We all knew who was going to win the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match last year and how he was going to win it though.
The Raw one wasn't much of a surprise either except for the Batista run-in-match.

Agree. It could be a lot more important than it is. I remember the first couple of Chambers... I don't think it was around Wrestlemania... but I liked them because of the way they would build the story around six (or however many people are in it) people al vying for the title, all looking like serious threats.
With it falling between the Rumble and Mania, it is like... the outcome becomes all that more predictable because you're like "Ok, this is where they are going for Mania..."
I dunno. I could even do with no PPV at all between the Rumble and Mania, but that isn't gonna happen.
