Whatever year it was that had a face Bradshaw as one of the main acts on Raw. 2003, maybe?

Maybe it's a "bakers decade". Those fools can't count.

Maybe we can change the thread title to 'worse year of the 2000s so far'.

Also, if anyone votes for 2011 here in January, he is probably a bit thick.

This. Same period Buh-Buh Ray Dudley was being pushed as a singles face. Year of the brand split I believe, can't remember when that was either.

Pretty sure it was 2003. Isn't that when Cena debuted on Smackdown and Deacon Batista showed up as well alongside Reverand D-Von?

I'm gonna go with 2006. I'll just list what comes to mind:
-Rey's title reign
-Eddie/Orton storyline
-Cena's prime of being an "unstoppable force"
-Great Khali going over Taker
-ECW post-RVD bust
-Lashley push
-Batista's feuds and matches were at their worst IMO
-December to Dismember
While thinking of the bad, I figured I'd post the good parts (but still not making up for the crap)
-Edge goes into the main event finally
-Angle/Undertaker at No Way Out
-Mania was great
-RVD winning the WWE title

Yeah, Smackdown was fairly solid then though. Dunno if it can make up for it.

I think Cena actually debuted in 02, but he hit his stride as a heel around 03 when he had B-2 with him. Pretty sure the Dudleys split in 03 also, and God help us, Scott Steiner had a title match at RR 03, so 03 gets my vote for Steiner alone.

-2005 was too much shit Cena. The whole Bischoff/Angle/Cena thing was bad. Plus JBL and Batista.
-2006 was just the same. Too much of that shit Cena

Off the top of my head I'm thinking 2007.
- Benoit.
- Lashley/McMahon feud.
- ECW's return momentum had died down and it officially became the 'C' show.
- Wrestlemania wasn't that great.
Can't really think of anything right now, but then that's kind of the point. 2007 seems like a 'meh' year to me.

2003 was the worst one...guess what blond-haired fag was on top in WWE for the majority of that year? ;)

yea, I remember just doing this and getting confused by 2006-2008. whatever the year was with DX vs the McMahons. that was me hitting rock bottom as a wrestling fan.
thankfully 2010 went down as one of my top 5 years ever

2010, especially the second half, was fun no doubt. Thinking it's laid the groundwork for a fantastic 2011 if they can maintain this momentum though.

2004.
Included pushes for wrestling greats such as Rene Dupree and Eugene. Also saw John Cena pushed to the moon. Included the absolute squashing and ruining of Shelton Benjamin and Randy Orton due to 'The Game's ego and abuse of power. JBL held a world title for the most of the year. 2004 marks the only year that I did not watch wrestling on a regular basis.

Along with all of this:
-Hornswoggle McMahon
-Cena's year long title run (granted it started in 2006 but you get the idea...)
-K-Fed pinning Cena on the New Year's Raw (which probably should have told you how bad the year would be...)
-Mr. Kennedy falls out instead of being a superstar...
-Teddy Long's wedding.
-Oh and...

I stopped watching/keeping up around late 2003 or early/mid 2004. I remember buying Here Comes The Pain before losing interest in the TV shows and going by this thread I will say that anything with focus on Great Khali and JBL seems like the low point so I'm going to say 2005-2007, these 3 years seem like the lowest of the low.

Looking back 2003 was pretty great. It's just at the time it was a come down from the Attitude era and everyone remembers it as a disappointment.
Growing up in my teen years with the 2000's, I don't recall any one year that was a huge let down. The one year that stands out the least for me is 2008 so I think I'll pick that. The outdoor Wrestlemania was impressive but that's about it. Every other year I can look back on off the top of my head and recall some awesome moments and memories.

Split between 3 years since 2003 was around the same time WWE focused too much on making RAW their "flagship" but Smackdown managed to do well even though it was neglected.
2005 was a weak year after a decent 2004 and Wrestlemania 20.
2007 or 2008 was also another bad year since that is when Cena became SuperCena on Raw or at least over-pushed at the cost of quality shows and feuds.
I went with 2003 since that was the year where the Attitude Era was essentially done and I missed most of Smackdown during that year due to college not having the channel it was on in their cable package. The other years it was expected that Smackdown would have its down periods due to the draft.

Looks like I felt the same way in that thread.

You can't vote for four different years. JBL was the champion in 2004-2005 (pick one of those) and Booker T was the World Champion in 2001 (WCWWE) and 2006.

Aight i'll go with 2005 then at least the midcard was better the following year.
2003. I lost interest in wrestling at that time and just stopped watching it altogether for awhile.

2007 is an easy answer for me here. It had been building up to getting that bad for a while, and it finally did.
The last couple months of 2007, however, began to show a bit of promise. 2008 and 09 showed huge turnaround that's still going and paying off really huge in the past couple years.

It all started turning up Millhouse for Raw when Hornswoggle was moved to Friday Night Smackdown. I'm glad there was a second chance for this poll because I was drunk off my ass when I made the choice in the first one

2003 was an awesome year. Sure enough Raw was boring with Triple H's ego coming out into the open, but Smackdown had some incredible talent and matches back then.
And the debut of the legendary Al Wilson. :D

2005 and 2009 are tops bad for me. 2009 was horrible with the guest hosts. I am surprised that does not have many more votes.
Thought 2009 was pretty good, Michaels/Taker, red hot Jericho, Punk's turn and feud with Hardy, Hardy himself, the two of them main eventing PPV's, Orton/Legacy, ECW, return of Christian, DX, Kofi's 'testing the waters' etc. Pretty solid.
Yeah, but I hate Jeremy Piven and Jewel

IMO 2007 was the worst year of the 2000s. That years wrestlemania was just awful with John Cena vs HBK and Lashley vs Umaga. It was also the year of 3 wwe title matches in one night at No Mercy with Triple H and Randy Orton twice and Triple H vs Umaga.
No Mercy 2007 was actually a pretty awesome PPV.

I agree. Why do people always cite that as some big disaster in WWE's history? It's the only time they did it and it was pretty interesting. It was better than just having Cena relinquish the title.
