My vote goes for 2000. Tazz Debut, tables match between the dudleys and hardys, bikini contast by dvas, awesome main event by Cactus Jack and Triple H, Rock wins rumble after both of his feet touch the floor and still headlined wrestlemania! Other matches were kinda ehh... And who can forget Taka Michunoku getting his face smashed during the rumble event!! Some1 please post that up!!

Only voting on the RR Match itself I'm going with 2004.

I'm pretty sure you don't need an 'IYO' if you're asking us for our favourites.
Anyways, I'd probably go with 2004, mainly coz of the Benoit stuff, and I remember being so excited throughout the entire match hoping Benoit will win it. Also had quite a lot of potential winners in it.

I quite enjoyed the 2001 RR as well. The hardcore part of it near the start was good stuff.

A) Good Lord, do you people really still have your hands wrapped around the whole "Tazz debut" dick?
B) He said Royal Rumble MATCH, idiot.

Anyways, 04. There was no obvious winner going in for one thing, which always makes the match better. The opening confrontation between Bischoff, Heyman, and Austin was a very amusing way to kick it off. You had several examples of feud buildup that would shape a great Wrestlemania; Foley vs Orton, Kane vs Undertaker, and Goldberg vs Lesnar. Orton also had an excellent showing in the match, which would help to build him up in his earlier days. Foley's entrance after he had been written off by Tazz and JR was great, as was Undertaker's tease against Kane. Nothing else among these years has been so well put together.

For my 2004 RR fans, how many of you honestly were yelling and going nuts when Benoit started taking Big Show over the top rope.

Shouldn't the decade start at 2001 since there was no year zero? I vote for other because I consider 2010 in the decade. 2001 is my second vote if the decade means 2000-2009 and not 2001-2010.

1. 2008- I was there live and Cena's return was awesome
2. 2004- Solid finish and great action and development of storyline
3. 2005- Great talent for the most part and a nice way of passing the torch to the new guard
4. 2002- Solid match and several memorable moments.
5. 2001- One word: Kane, also The Rock and Austin give us a preview of Mania X7 and Austin overcomes the odds after returning from neck surgery and a beatdown from Triple H to win
6. 2006- Solid in ring action with HHH and Mysterio starting it off and along with Orton are the last guys in the ring. I know alot of people for some reason don't like this match, but Mysterio winning is awesome.
7. 2000- This is probably my favorite of the Royal Rumble events in entirety, and I love that The Rock my third favorite of all time won the match and there were some amazing moments. I just thought the matches listed before were better Rumble matches
8. 2007- HBK vs. Taker as well as Orton and Edge being the final four is the only highlight for me in this match after watching it last night.
9. 2009- Orton winning is great and it led to a great feud between HHH and himself...notice I said feud because you can't really deny that the feud was good leading into Mania. Otherwise, I wasn't a huge fan of the in ring action. Some was alright with John Morrison and Mysterio for instance, but otherwise ehh.

2000 since mainly due to the fact The Rock won it and that cuz they kept on showing that epic faceplant to the mat that chinese guy took.

2001 b/c of the hardcore spots, Drew Carrey, and the Honky Tonk Man segment. Plus Kane was just a beast in that match

I liked the one Drew Carey was in. That one stands out. Austins final rumble victory leading into an amazing Rock/ Austin II at Mania X7. And yeah, Kane beasted it.
2000 was cool as well. Taz debuts, and Lawler going nuts over Taka faceplanting.

2004 with 2001 a close second.
I love the Rumble because you can get the whole story of the WWE in one match and I think 2004 did that best.

Hmm..this comes down to 2001, 2007, and 2008 for me.
2001 had some great moments and never seemed to slow down.
2007 was entertaining and the final 2 was amazing.
2008 because I was there live, it was unpredictable, and it had that "Garden" feel.
Eh..fuck it. I'll say 2008.

The Rumble is probably my top favorite match, and I liked most all of them recently, with the exception of 06 and 10. In 06, it wasn't even the main event. And last years was just so rushed. But I actually voted for 2009 cus I was there and had a lot of big moments including RVD's last WWE appearances, and Orton's big win after the punt to Vince.

My choices were limited as I didn't watch wrestling from 2004-2007... so while I would most likely agree with Benoit's win... from the footage posted, I didn't watch it.
I do remember 2001 because it started the big leadup to Rock/Austin @ 17... which was epic.... And Stone Cold is schweet.
