View Full Version : Should Sting go to TNA or WWE?

The question is should String return to TNA or should he go to WWE and be placed in the Hall of Fame in Atlanta?
I'd mark out if he faced Undertaker as I marked out when he faced off vs Goldberg and his bloated streak in one of the best matches I've ever witnessed out of Sting or any performer in the WCW.
Where do you think Sting should go?
Start his feud with Hogan again or finally embark on a new, but ending chapter with the WWE?

No vote for "Hell?"
...Or is TNA supposed to cover it?

As screwed up as the storylines are at TNA, I personally hope Sting signs with WWE.

Vignettes are now hyping someone coming around 2-21-11. it seemed like Sting but it could be anyone I suppose.

I believe that shoot Sting and Kevin Nash did on the Impact after Bound For Glory was legit.

There is nothing left in TNA for him to do, and there is nothing TNA can offer him and make a good argument to stay.
WWE can offer big money, a Wreslemania match, a Hall of Fame induction, action figures, video game appearences, a DVD on his entire career.
He'd be a fucking idiot to go back to TNA.

Sting has said he didn't want to go to WWE, not because of didn't want to work with McMahon. But because he didn't like the type of product McMahon was putting out. This was several years ago. WWE has since went PG. Maybe Sting would reconsider a WWE Run. Sting is personally one of my all time Favorite Wrestlers. So to see him do something in WWE would be Epic. I fear it will always only be a dream.

I'd like to see him in the WWE, supposedly he didnt like the way Goldberg etc was booked so just book it as a 1 year retirement tour and put him in PPV matches leading up to Mania with 'taker. He's done everything he could do in TNA already.

Yeah...I'm a Sting mark...and have tended to watch any program he's been on. If the teaser promo is indeed for Sting...I beg WWE to have him end the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak. If anyone could do it, it would be him.

Thats dumb. No way Vince lets someone who has NEVER worked for him break the streak.

– According to a very reliable backstage source, there has been absolutely no contact between Steve “Sting” Borden and World Wrestling Entertainment officials. This story was way overblown by many fans due to a New York Daily News report claiming Sting had signed a one-year deal with WWE.
We all know Ryan Clark has great reliable sources...
I don't believe IT.
There is NOWAY that Vince is NOT going to touch WCWs untouched DIAMOND for this WCW themed Wrestlemania..
He would atleast reachout to him in some manner.
For Clarks source to say there is has been zero contact, is just unbelievable and ridiculous.
He's out of TNA at the moment, TNA has been raunchy and basically picked up all the old Attitude Era fans with it's raunchy storylines while old WCW fans enjoy the PG Era in WWE.
I totally see Vince reaching out to Sting, just not letting anyone else know about it.
Who said this is a WCW themed Wrestlemania?

Where have you been?
RYAN CLARK for the past 6 months has been reporting it which is why they brought in Nash and Booker T.
Which is also why Luger is rumored to be coming in, and other notable people like Macho Man Randy Savage, etc.

WWE hasn't officially said it will be WCW themed yet.

You'd have to be brainless to think it wasn't considering how WWE has in recent years been pushing all the new young talent to only recruit a bunch of has been WCW guys to do WCW type themes/gimmicks/dvds etc..
I mean, WWE isn't TNA, they aren't going to bring all these old dudes out and try to relive the past week in n week out. They are doing this for Atlanta. God Damn.
What, 1 DVD and 2 surprise Rumble entries? 2 surprise Rumble entries that are more remembered for what they've done in WWE than WCW with modern crowds? Stop being shit. God damn.
TheAdamEvansFan
02-05-2011, 10:41 PM
REALLY?
Booker T did far more in WCW than WWF/E.
His King Booker gimmick was garbage.
His TV Title run in WCW was mint.
Stop trolling.
Can you fucking read? 'With modern crowds' mutant.

You like picking fights on here.
I'm guessing it's to make up for your lack of testosterone in real life.
Just don't try hiding when more WCW guys come out of the closet on the road to Wrestlemania.
lol no, I really don't. I just no longer have any patience for idiots of any variety in or around the wrestling industry and will tell somebody straight to their face or over the internet that they are shit, their match was shit, what they are saying is shit etc. Just so happens that there are a lot of fuckwits in this wrestling-orientated corner of the world.

The Poll needs a third option, 'Neither'.
As much as I would empty my excitement bladder all over the wall if Sting appeared in WWE, I hope he doesn't. I'm a huge Sting mark, but I'd love for him to be one of the few wrestlers that retire with some dignity. I think a final run in the WWE could be potentially worse that anything TNA could do to tarnish his name.
I really didn't enjoy Bret Hart's final run in the WWE. Sure, it provided some classic moments, but my lasting memory of Bret Hart is now as an old man who was too broken to wrestle.
I don't watch TNA, so my current lasting memory of Sting is from the final Nitro broadcast. I can only hope that Sting doesn't "retire" like the man he faced that night...
Only my opinion of course, but Sting's future should only involve a large jar, his head, and the occasional bit of gold-fish flake.
don't try hiding when more WCW guys come out of the closet
lol fucking epic that would be.

I don't get the importance of Sting NOT ever signing with WWE. I mean, really, at the end of the day, what does it truly accomplish.
I hope Sting has/does eventually sign with WWE. TNA cannot offer the type of legacy WWE can build for him based on his past accomplishments. Outside of mentioning it, all that gets ignored in TNA. They can only showcase what Sting has done for them.
Vince, on the other hand, owns Sting's entire WCW run from start to finish. Their marketing machine can buld Sting up and make him immortal in the eyes of the modern fan base, much like they did with Bret.
Makes too much sense for Sting not to do it. He deserves the recognition.

Vince wants Sting to be a part of WrestleMania as well as inducting him into the Hall of Fame, especially with both events taking place in Atlanta, the home of WCW.
I hope he does it.

With all the talk of Triple H facing Taker with HBK as the ref, maybe they start out with a clean match but HBK and HHH start realizing they cannot defeat taker and start ganging up on him. As they start bearing him to a pulp the lights go out, the sound of crows fill the dark stadium, the lights return and taker is laying on HHH with HBK knocked out. A WWE ref runs out for the 3 count. Next night HHH calls out his assailant on RAW, sting doesn't show but haunts him throughout the night. only to take him out during the main event. Next week his reasoning is that he never agreed with HHH and the DX crap and has comes to make him answer for his past transgressions......... or whatever

Honestly.
I would laugh my *** off if Sting's WWE career went like this.
Sting descends from ceeiling to attack HHH in a surprise attack at Mania. HHH pedgrees him, throws him out of the ring and goes "Who was that???" and its never mentioned on WWE TV again.
