Will Rock make it in Hollywood to Arnold's level or even higher?

Who else will make it big? Nash? Punisher anyone?

Generally, 40 year olds with beer guts that try to act cool aren't Hollywood stars. They're the guys in strip clubs finding out that there's no sex in the champagne room.

The Rock is going to be fairly huge for a while. He's doing that SpyHunter movie, and the studio is trying to get John Woo to direct. He's never going to be a great actor, but his movies are going to make money.

The Rock will do well enough. He has many a project lined up and his movies are moderate successes in the very least. I'm not worried about him.

And I know I'll prolly see all of his movies too.

Rock will be big I bet. Then again he just might end up like Hogan. I predict that a bunch of WWE superstars will go on to attempt hollywood movie stardom but few will make it.

Rock will be big but I don't think Arnold big... He'll come close but that's bout it. Besides the next big thing to hit theatres is Goldberg... Santa's Slay anyone? gonna freakin rule :shifty:

Rock has the best chance out of current wrestlers.

I would say either Goldberg or Nash. :shifty:

The Rock will have the most success, but I'm not sure how much bigger he'll get.
Goldberg is in some movie called "Santas Slay"? I don't know about it, I just remember seeing a shirt with that on it on Punk'd.
Kevin Nash isn't gonna exactly be looking at a lot of exposure from Punisher, since he had no speaking roles and facially it doesnt' look like him. Keep in mind he was the Super Shredder in TMNT II.

I wouldn't compare the Rock's time in Hollywood to Hogans. Suburban Commando and Santa Claus with muscles, lol.

Isn't Jericho gonna be in Freddy vs. Jason 2?

I heard they were also considering Eddie Guerrero

What the hell? What kind of movie would they be making if they have two wrestlers in it?

Like 'No Holds Barred,' but better. :o

Nash wasn't bad in the Punisher...although he didn't talk.

Ready to rumble.

What happened to "WrestleMania: The Movie"? There were cameras all over WMXIX, then nothing (in England at least).

Well as much as I loved Freddy vs Jason, it is kinda clown shoe anyways and its definitely not something serious that will lose credibility for having two wrestlers in it. I mean, they had Freddy and Jason square off already, they need to add stuff to make it draw.
Plus Jericho and Eddie G. have good charisma and probably will have screen presence. If a member of desitny's child can be a character in FvJ, why not them. Its FvsJ 2, not Schindlers list. I can't wait to see how they get the ax and who gives it.
If they cast HHH he'll prob no sell an ax to the head, or something.

Rocky's good, but he won't last in the movie industry. His films are what you'd call "popcorn flicks." Fun to watch in the theater, but definitely lacking on the playback value, and not something you're going to rush out to buy when it hits store shelves.

"The Rundown" got good reviews, but "Walking Tall" walked away with some pretty shitty ones. If Rock takes some acting lessons and really tries to become a new character instead of "The Rock," then he'll last much longer in Hollywood.

However, I still think we'll see The Rock back to full-time wrestling action in three years or less.

How will he do in "Be Cool"?
