– Kurt Angle stated during an interview this afternoon with The Fight Show in Canada that his existing contract with TNA Wrestling expires in August. - Ryan Clark
Since he is doing a long drawn out program with Jarrett that should be one of TNA's best programs of the year, do you see Angle hanging it up in TNA after August?
Will he feel it's best to return to the WWE and finish out his career there?
What's your take on it?

We can always hope, however unlikely it is. Personally, I could go either way with it. It'd be nice, but it wouldn't break my heart if he didn't.

I'd like to see Angle return to the WWE, and I think it has a very good chance of happening. Kurt Angle signed with TNA in 2006, and nearly five years later that's pretty much it. They've given him their World Title a couple of times (even making him the first "TNA World Heavyweight Champion"), but it hasn't changed the face of professional wrestling or anything.
Unless TNA really has an amazing year, I can't see Angle staying with them for too much longer. He sometimes seems to be having the time of his life with the promotion, but that can change in a heart beat when you are taking vicious bumps each night you work and have a multi-million dollar offer for less on the table.

Wouldn't mind it, but I don't see him contributing much. WWE would make a big deal about his return, probably give him an unsuccessful run at a title, then in a couple months he'd be putting younger talent over. As he should.

I'd like him to come back at next years RR as a suprise entrant and then show up on SD that following week and call out Swagger. Have him and Swagger fued for a bit until they ultimately have a submission match against each other for the right to control the ankle lock submission. For shits and giggles, find Ken Shamrock and have him be the guest ref.

Stay in TNA, he is there best wrestler.

If WWE signs him to Legends deal where he can work limited dates and not have to be on the road 320 days a year, then he'll be in WWE.

That's not saying much, he's the best wrestler wherever he goes.

Someone saying they are the best wrestler in TNA is like someone saying they are the smart kid in the dumb class.

Bag it's more like saying they are the best wrestler in a company full of poorly used talent and shit storylines. There is a ton of tna talent that is great in the ring.

I had the same idea only with Swagger going after Angle as his former role model who "let him down".

with a broken frickin' neck! It's true....it's true...it's DAMN TRUE!
I AM NOT A NUGGET
The idea of Angle returning makes me a happy panda. He's one of the greatest of all time in the ring and on the mic. No one can deny that. Kurt is the overall package and has been since his debut in the WWE. He's had innumerable classics and he should end his career where he started it, which is with the biggest wrestling company on the planet.
That, and the idea of Kurt Angle VS CM Punk and Kurt Angle VS Daniel Bryan are enough to make me blow a load.

Kurt Angle returning in the 2012 Royal Rumble would be absolutely stupendous.

Kurt Angle recently did an interview with MMA reporter Mauro Ranallo for The Fight Show yesterday. The full interview is available at Radio.TheScore.com. Here are some highlights:
TNA Contract Expiring: “My contract’s up in August. I’m going to keep the option open. I like TNA. I like being there. I like that the company has built the last four-and-a-half years since I’ve been there. I don’t have any plans of leaving, but I don’t think Kevin Nash and Booker T had plans of jumping either.”
Kevin Nash & Booker T Jumping Ship To WWE: “They were actually, until a couple days before the (Royal) Rumble, signed with TNA. In essence, they asked for their release at the last second and TNA gave them their wish. I’m going to do what’s best for Kurt Angle and they’ve treated me well here.”
The Current TNA Roster: “We have a stacked roster. We can’t put everybody on a TV show. So, you’re not seeing a lot of the talent week after week. I think they’re going to have to be more consistent about keeping the top talent in there.”
DAMN iNATOR

Even if Angle doesn't go back to WWE, it's no huge loss for the fans, really. I mean, they just got Booker T and Nash back....that oughtta be more than enough to keep older fans satisfied for a while.

I think Angle will come back, as WWE Fans will be tired of the WCW guys soon after Wrestlemania hype resides...
We will all be WCW'ed out.
I'd like to see Ken Kennedy back in WWE. I hated him because he was a good heel and a decent face.
He has that edgyness to him that makes ratings.

I believe he will return to TNA. Lighter work schedule, I'm sure he's getting paid pretty well.
But...I STILL don't understand...you go into a company...some time later, your wife divorces you...and ends up with a fellowe co-worker, and not only that, one of the people who lured you into the company...and you are ok with that? You not only STAY in the company, but you work an angle with the guy who is now your ex-wive's husband, and allow the topic to be touched during the angle?
...am I crazy because I don't "get" this?

yeah that is why i don't see him leaving tna, vince must have realy pissed him off, for jeff to do what he did an him not leave. then again angle has a new wife he sees his exwife and kids are happy an if he is cool with it i am cool with the fued.

Kurt Angle could sign a deal with the WWE that will give him lots of money for a couple of nights' work, put him in video games, get him some merchandise, etc. That can be very alluring.
