Is it just me or did the Japanese chefs just get SCREWED

Yeah it was bullshit. I think it was because the American judges have different taste than the Japanese ones, they should have had a mix of judges to make it more even. Sakai should have won the first one, Morimoto V. Batali was good, I couldn't decide who in that one, and Puck V. Morimoto I agree Puck should have one. In the final I think Sakai/Batali should have won.

Yeah, exactly as Vega said. There should have been some Jap judges up there in order for Sakai or Morimoto to have won. Do they really think that most American people eat sushi? Or how about Trout Ice Cream.

Where the f</>uck was Emeril at.

Too bad they couldn't have the Iron Chef Chinese or Italian :wavesad:

Chen Kenechi was supposed to be there but got sick and couldn't make it :(

I was wondering where the hell Emeril was too, he would have kicked ass.

Don't know about Emeril as a chef, but having him involved in some way would have been great. Pretty much the only 'american' chef I felt should have won was Puck.. the other battles were tainted by the judges western biases in taste.

Also.. that guy from Vogue seemed like an asshole, or maybe it was just me. D:

I think Emeril would have been better as a commentator alongside Alton :-\
