View Full Version : Who Would Go Into a TNA Hall of Fame

Apparently Dixie has teased the idea of TNA having it's own HOF. Let's assume that WWE requires wrestlers to be exclusive to it's Hall only similar to how they restrict them with the Legends Contracts they sign relating to name, image and likeness.

Who would that allow TNA to add? Who would be actually worthy or have kissed Jarrett/Dixie's ass enough to get in when their career is done?

So far, I've got Dixie herself

Jarrett

Sting (If he doesn't go WWE)

Gail Kim (she started the Knockouts division and has pretty much been misused by the WWE)

AJ Styles

Abyss

Samoa Joe

Any more?

Ken Shamrock, sure he was the 1st NWA-TNA champion.

I'd like to think Chris Daniels, but I have no idea how long he was actually in TNA.

TNA isn't really old enough yet to have a HOF. Besides a few exceptions such as Jarrett, Sting and Shamrock, most of these guys were unknown until appearing in TNA. People like AJ, Abyss and Daniels could all go in there if TNA makes it to the year 2020, but right now a lot of them have only really been getting mainstream exposure for about ten years, and it doesn't really qualify as a 'hall of fame career'.

But if this was legit and Dixie did make a HOF in the very near future, then I'd think the obvious two should be Jarrett and Shamrock. Anymore than that and half the roster will be in the hall by the end of next year.

Jerry Lynn
Sting
Jeff Jarrett
A.J. Styles
Mike Tenay
Don West

only ones that I see applicable

I think it is a little early for a company less than a decade old to be establishing a Hall of Fame.

What are you talking about? He's not Curry Man anymore. He was let go by TNA in 2009 after they didn't like his title feud with AJ and changed his name to Daniels.

Out of all seriousness, I think TNA needs to last 10 more years before they think about inducting anyone in a hall of fame. Raise up their own legends who stick around.

Maybe TNA should make some stars before they open a hall of fame.

Yeah I totally think that this is a terrible idea.

Before you focus on who deserves to be in ANY hall of fame, make sure you are running a successful company.

Barely scraping by doesn't equate to honoring former stars.

Baby Steps, Baby Steps.

There are a few names that come to mind that have been TNA since it first started, but they aren't really worth mentioning because a TNA HOF is a terrible idea at the moment. The company hasn't even been around a full decade yet, and even so in the beginning they had the NWA backing them. If they are serious they need to wait another 5-10 years before making their own HOF.

If they actually go ahead with it i can see it being like the WCW hof where they induct guys from previous generations, like WWE did with Gorgeous George etc., to try and give it some credability. And obviously Hogan will get in maybe Jerry Jarrett too.

TNA does not deserve a Hall Of Fame. It has not contributed any thing meaningful to the wrestling world as of yet.

I think that a hall of fame is a silly idea for TNA, at least at the time being...

Now a Hall of SHAME...well...

IF they did do a Hall of Fame...It sure as hell better include Cheex.

Sting got in first as a way to "legitimize" it based on star power. I think if you wanna make it seem meaningful down the road, Jerry Jarrett's gotta go in next.

Probably not while he's in WWE, but he definitely needs to be there.

Anyone else find it strange that WWE has two guys on their roster who held the actual NWA heavyweight title?
