View Full Version : Is it worth it to keep Wolfe around?

I read on the main page the other day that Nigel Mcguinness (Desmond Wolfe) is still indesposed for an undisclosed medical condition which is the same reason he wasnt able to sign with the WWE. I was liking the team of him and Magnus. It also sounded like they were working to remaking the Brittish Invasion with Douglas Williams. If his condition can take him out of action at a moments notice like this, is it even worth it to build him up into a main storyline? He is good in the ring, but there are plenty of healthy wrestlers out there that would love a shot in TNA.

Side Note I'm not too familiar with his career, has this happen before?

He had badly torn biceps from 'overdoing lariats' in ROH.

Dunno whats up w/ him this time tho, Ive read cancer, hep C, brain damage, etc.

It's not the same medical condition that stopped him from going to WWE. There's a reason it's 'undisclosed'. As long as he 'keeps his nose out' from now on, he should be an asset to them.

I think the answer is being 'sniffed' out on here.

A wrestling ring isn't the only place he likes to 'bump'.

They didn't use him properly when he was healthy. I'm sure this is the final nail in the coffin with his TNA career for now.

Hopefully he can get healthy from whatever is ailing him and then try to get back with them once he does.

Not sure that anybody would ever want to wrestle against him ever again if he has HepC though. He looks like David Beckham and in the end he was paid a good amount of money and barley wrestled like Beckman barley played soccer for LA Galaxy.

If it's a drug problem, then fuck him.

I really doubt that his problem is coke, if WWE was to hire him and then release him or whatever happened I think it would be due to a contagious disease. People mentioned Hep C, which is of course possible and seems likely given the circumstances. However, I am not sold and I'd really like to know what the problem is. Private as it obviously is, people have to wonder in the locker room and if some knew you'd think that we would know.

I'm not going to speculate on what is going on, but he'd be worth keeping for TNA. The guy is not an attraction the company is hanging their future on. He's a great wrestler, and makes a hell of a performer when he is active. If he helps TNA, then they should keep him. He's far more valuable than certain other commodities TNA has gone after.

But if it is cocaine, then I'd like to see Wolfe leave TNA and feud with CM Punk on RAW. :shifty:

McGuinness is just another great wrestler whose reputation and star-power has been drained by TNA. As long as he's healthy then of course TNA should keep him, but they should also use him too.
