Surpised this wasn't posted about here already.

The WWE Hall of Fame highlight special will not air until Monday April 4th at 8PM on the USA Network, the day after Wrestlemania 27 as noted last night.

This is good news for fans attending the ceremony, which is on 4/2, because the introductions and acceptance speeches will no longer need to be shortened so that WWE can edit the one-hour broadcast in time for broadcast that same day. It sucks for the rest of you.

Well there you have it. Thoughts?

I looked forward to seeing it every year the night before to kinda get the juices following for the next day and Mania. I like that they will allow longer acceptance speeches for the DVD and all just kinda stinks won't be on that Saturday Night. Wonder if will put on website?

I like the fact that it'll give more time for the DVD, but you're right that it gets you pumped.

Dunno, might be good for extra time to edit it down for TV.

It's gonna be weird not to be able to watch the HOF Ceremony the Saturday before WM.

I for one am glad that WWE is doing this . For those of us who are going it will make it more memorable. The last couple years have had major restrictions by WWE . So with this change hopefully that doesnt happen.

It's a win/lose.

For those who are lucky enough to attend the event, they don't have to worry about guys getting cut short.

Sucks for the rest of us who like the idea of seeing the old timers getting their moment in the sun before the biggest night of the year.

Hopefull they will have an online live feed. That'd be slick.

I like the idea of streaming it online (as they've done in the past), but then not many would watch it on TV.

I think it would be a better idea if they aired it an hour or two before Mania starts. It probably would help with some last minute buys. I remember when Heat used to always make me want to order that night's PPV and I can only imagine what seeing Shawn's induction/video package(s) could do.

I was so pissed off when Austin was only given 5 minutes in Houston. This is a great thing.

I have to miss all the old folks on stage.
Although I would not mind seeing HBKs speech.

It's on the same time slot that Tough Enough is going to be on. They probably want to use this as a test to see what a show does in the 8pm hour before Raw. Which means I'm watching it online on JTV anyways because my DVR is busy recording House and How I Met Your Mother at the 8pm hour.

It's going to be kindof weird though if they talk about "tomorrow at WrestleMania" like they always do.
