TNA-5 Years from now

With the recent ratings spike and a solid ppv showing last night,TNA is showing to me that they could possibly be steady compitition to WWE in the future. In your opinion,where wil the company be in five years. Will they be defunct and closed down? Could they ever over take the strangle hold that Mcmahon has on the buisness,and become number one in the ratings? Will they combine with ROH and make the IWC websites explode? What ratings spike?They just had the second highest rated show ever,including specials monday night shows etc.They were on a good streak of almost 2 million for a few weeks there.

I think he was just stating that they have high ratings ON spike? Maybe? Oh wait, that cant be it because they are not even the #1 show on Spike TV. A station that runs 3 hours of COPS reruns 2 times a day. What a joke channel with joke programing. Except the cage fighting and 1000 ways to die.

In five years time TNA will be in the same position as it is now. The #2 company, but nowhere near competing with WWE.

They aren't attracting new fans and they won't unless they drastically improve the writing and production, so I would say in 5 years TNA will be doing a 1.2 rating.

No matter how many big stars they sign (Jeff Hardy, Hulk, Bischoff etc) they still seem incapable of raising their ratings far beyond what they were years ago. With all these signings and all the advantages the company has they've made little, if any, progress. With this in mind why should I believe anything will change?

They need to increase their production values, they have the talent and could employ better writers. but somehow TNA dosen't seem like as much of a 'spectacle' as WWE.

Plus all the people who have said they will be out of business are completely stupid. They have a never ending stream of money coming from an energy company, for as long as people exist they will need to buy energy. Thus the energy company and others affiliated with it are pretty safe until sitting in candlelight looking at a blank screen becomes a popular pastime.

Theyve always been around that number though with the two hour thursday Impact, 1.2 in the nielsen ratings does not mean 1.2 million people watched. They havent gained a significant number of viewers or had a ratings spike.

Even when they changed days they kept the same ratings, they do have a loyal fanbase, it just never seems to grow. 1.2 on spike i think is a decent rating, internationally i think they do ok too, but unless they are in profit eventually then even a steady viewership wont help them longterm.
