View Full Version : ***SPOILER*** Raw GM Revealed???

There was discussion at RAW that the anonymous RAW General Manager will be revealed as Vince McMahon, thus leading to a Vince McMahon-The Rock angle at WrestleMania. This could also be part of the reason Vince McMahon did not appear on RAW last night as originally planned.

I know continuity isnt really THAT big of a deal BUT the whole "No More Surpises" Phone call before he was put in a coma would be even more retarded...

Wasn't the whole "Mr. McMahon" character supposed to be "retired" at last Wrestlemania after the Harts beat the ever loving shit out of him?
That being said though, there's few heels who could have been worth the wait, and have the clout, that being the Anonymous GM would call for. Unless its a newly turned HHH or something, there's not anyone really who comes to mind. They can't just make someone like Abraham Washington the GM anymore after all this time.

At this point they really don't need a reveal. As far as I'm concerned it's Michael Cole. And I'm fine with that. It's much better than having the big reveal be Vince again.

I thought it'd be Michael Cole.

That would suck.
A Rock vs Vince would suck even more.

At this point they really don't need a reveal.
At this point, I'd rather keep dragging it out until they have the perfect situation/person. It does nothing for Trips or Vince, and won't push any current feuds farther at this point (unless it's Cole and Lawler, which would be a throwaway). I like the reaction it gets when the alarm goes off, it's nice to develop plots with, without a sole entity to ether get behind or hate.

It's gone on so long that I don't think there is a perfect situation/person. And again I'm fine with that. Just let Michael Cole do his thing. Even though what they have now is goofy, it works.

Yeah. If Vince was the Mystery GM, why would the Rock care?

Nick is in his 70's so I highly doubt it is him
plus not many fans of the WWE today even know the fuck he is
unless you are a die hard fan you know him

Right.
In the storyline, Rock called Vince to Guest Host WM27, and Vince brought him...
...so...I don't see why they would feud.

i'm with supreme on this. i'd rather have no reveal at all and just keep assuming that it's cole. this is the most i've enjoyed an authority figure in a long time, and it hasn't gotten stale to me yet. vince wouldn't be the worst, but i'd be extremely disappointed if they took that tired route.

Wait... why would Vince McMahon have to hide behind the anonymity of being GM... He's Vince McMahon.
If he does this, that doesn't make sense. He's never been afraid/worried about putting his foot down... he's the boss...
thats stupid...

What worries me is that, if this turns out to be true, that Vince DOES turn out to be the RAW GM, and feuds with The Rock...is that most (I would say ALL, but I'm not sure) of Vince McMahon's feuds with wrestlers, end up in a match.
And, for real...I'd like to see Rock wrestle again, but not against Vince. It'll take away from the excitement of having The Rock wrestling again.

Even with what happened last night, I can still see The Rock being GM - he could have just sent a blank email to set off the "bat-signal" so that he could rip into Cole. We never did get to hear what the GM wanted...

Right, so...he was in the middle of his promo...how did he send the email?
Oh, I get it. It was probably Rikishi. Rock probably knew nothing about it.
And why would Rikishi send the email?
'Cause he did it for The Rock.

Does Rock returning give any more weight to HHH being the GM?
Apart from Austin, I always thought HHH was Rock's best feud, and one of the more highlighted ones from the era. GM HHH vs. Non-Wrestling Rock could work.
But that would cancel out HHH vs. Taker for Wrestlemania with HBK as guest referee. That just makes sense, HHH is on the verge of winning, HBK super kicks him so he doesn't break the streak he couldn't break...
My head hurts... :wtf:
If Vince is GM, that's really weak. It should be another McMahon...

In the end, I hope they take a huge swerve on it and make it someone the IWC would never expect.... like CM Punk. The anonymous GM likes to punk people, so it would only continue Punk's punking streak as of lately. Probably not going to happen, but I can dream. Yeah, it's probably Cole/Vince/Trips.
Right, so...he was in the middle of his promo...how did he send the email?
Who wouldn't send a blank email for The Rock? I'de do it if I could.

If they turned GM Shane into a Mr McMahon character (hardly a stretch I know, no name change required), I wonder who would be his Austin?
Orton I guess... but great oppurtunity for someone else maybe?

If the Hardys can conjure up enough combined mind power to post videos of themselves, the Rock can send an email by just looking at someone funny... or with the flick of an eyebrow.:wtf:
According to Ryan Clark, the Raw GM might be * Drum rolls *Triple-H

The Rock vs. Vince McMahon would be stupid. If The Rock is going to be involved in an angle, it should be someone he could actually get over. This stuff with John Cena and even The Miz is fine.
I did, however, think the other day that the RAW GM could be revealed to be Diamond Dallas Page. I mean, it wouldn't be a grand shocker or anything, but coupled with a Hall of Fame induction, him hosting the new Best of Nitro DVD or whatever, and all that jazz -- DDP revealing himself to be the GM of RAW and handing out a Diamond Cutter to someone would be pretty neat. It wouldn't need to be a long term thing, but just something to make DDP more relevant to today's fans.

I love DDP as much as the next guy, and I'D mark out...but DDP has pretty much zero relevance to the young fans nowadays, and the crowd would go absolutely mild if he was the reveal, would be a complete letdown.

If it's Vince, it's a fucking epic fail. TBH, keepign it going this long and not really giving him an agenda doesn't make sense. They had it with Edge for a bit now he just is a tweener with no real "essence". It wouldnt make sense to reveal him now. They need to build a fued up first.

How about this for an angle? They reveal that as a safeguard Mr. McMahon had his consciousness stored on a hard drive. When he entered the coma, the hard drive took over all of his duties as Chairman of the Board, etc. It also became the Raw GM. Now that Mr. McMahon is back he tries to pull the plug on the machine but the machine won't let him. So the machine uploads itself to the debuting Tyler Black who is actually a robot and will act as a robot for the rest of his WWE career. So we have Mr. McMahon v. Tyler Black (Robot Mr. McMahon) set for Mania.

Huge letdown. Maybe Vince is on another cycle, and his libido is acting up again. He needs his yearly ego stroke
The way they were going with Miz/Cena/Rock was perfectly fine, why do they gotta screw this up? What a waste of a Rock return
Next thing you'll know, John Cena will be turning heel ONLY by aligning himself with THE DEVIL HIMSELF Vince McMahon. This will be another stroke for Vince's ego.
This whole scenerio is taking the lazy mans' way out. I bet creative had a bunch of other good ideas, but Vince insisted it be done this way. He should lay off the roids man
