When I saw the Rock come out on Monday I said to myself, wow Rocks got some great looking legs in heels. :naughty: With all the other recent suprise returns that have gotten huge pops from the crowd (Shawn Michaels HOF announcement, Booker T and Diesel at the Royal Rumble) who else can return and match that? Goldberg, Macho Man, Jericho, Mr Fuji, Austin?

when cena leaves for a few months then comes back.
macho man would probably get a big one too, but it would depend on the city they're in
Honestly, it's going to depend heavily on the city for anyone. While the pop for Rock was big, it didn't sound anywhere near what it should have. It wasn't really epic, just a big pop.
Had Rock came back in Boston at the Rumble, or another big wrestling city, it would have been enormous.
As for who would get that kind of pop (assuming a good city)? Savage for sure. Shane McMahon could get a pretty big one I think.

Triple H returning in Manchester, New Hampshire or New Haven, Connecticut...or Triple H returning at the Elimination Chamber to cave in John Cena's skull with a sledgehammer while The Rock cuts a promo and pisses all over John Cena's compressed gray matter.

Stone Cold will get a huge pop. As long as they don't announce him beforehand. The glass shattering is just instant $$$$$

Triple H needs The Rock now? Did not see that coming James Steele, kind of disappointing.

Hogan for sure even if people hate his reputation for backstage politics.

any return of virtually any successful performer can get an enormous pop in the right city (New York, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, etc.)

Nobody the only other person that could have received a bigger response was Bret Hart in Montreal that night that Michaels fooled them rather than actually show up.

On a serious note, I'd have to say Savage as well.
If Sting were to ever show in WWE, maybe hype his debut like has been done with the 2-21-11 vids, build them for a few weeks, maybe leak his return in the week beforehand so it builds anticipation up to and during the show itself, have Nexus maybe jump one of the top faces say Cena, play the last video promo while Nexus kayfabe 'zomg what's going on', cut the lights, hit the music and have him come from the rafters (doubtful after Owen) or just appear at the top of the ramp with the bat. I think the crowd would blow the roof off.
Brock would get a monster pop now as well, more so than any other ex-WWE guy I think.

This pretty much.
If any of the really big names (Austin, Hogan, HHH maybe) stayed away for as long as Rock did and repeatedly stated that they wouldn't come back but then did, I think they'd get a big enough pop.
Gotta say, I was surprised at the reaction though. More so that the kids were cheerin for him. I mean, if he's been gone for 7 years most of them would have been about 3 years old. How do they even remember him?

i honestly thought it was as close to epic as a wwe crowd has reacted in years. they would have chanted "rocky" for an hour if he let them.
austin is the only other one who could do it now. hbk prob could a few years from now, if he stays away from the spotlight the whole time.

Can Brock Lesnar really get a big reaction?
UFC people like him for being a monster, but in the WWE, you have to sell yourself on the mic too, just look at KOSLOV.

Diesel's pop was bigger.

Brock gets booed at every UFC event because the vast majority of fans feel like he got his title shot to soon (for evidence of this check out the crowd reaction when Cain beat his face to shit).
To answer the question i'd go with Eddie Guerrero
