I agree. They were amazing together. I also liked the AWA's Tag Team division, with teams like The Midnight Rockers, The Original Midnight Express, Badd Company, The Olympians, The Destruction Crew, D.J. Peterson and J.T. Southern, The Texas Hangmen...I can just go on. Thanks to the Road Warriors, the tag team scene was abundant.

You talk about tag teams and you can't forget Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens off your list of top AWA Tag Teams

June 26 1983, St. Paul Minnesota, Sheik Adnan El Kassey purchases the contract of Ken Patera from Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and then teams him up with Jerry "Crusher" Blackwell to defeat The High Flyers, Greg Gagne and Jumpin' Jim Brunzell, for The AWA World Tag Team Titles.

June 10 1984, St. Paul Minnesota. AWA battle royal where Jerry "Crusher" Blackwell turned babyface after Sheik Adnan El Kassey and Abdullah the Butcher and Bruiser Brody turned on him also at the end look for Dusty Rhodes, Curt Hennig, and The Fabulous Ones, Steve Keirn and Stan Lane to save the day

Blackwell had been a hated heel for several years before this
