Dark Match:
(1) Percy Watson defeated Chavo Guerrero.

SUPERSTARS:
(1)Tag Team Match - Non Title: Justin Gabriel/Heath Slater deeated. Trent Baretta/JTG. A lot of "Wendy's" Chants for Heath during this match.

(2)Chris Masters defeated Tyler Reks, was surprised he lost actually.

NXT:
The crowd wasn't really interested in the NXT stuff besides a select few, but that was about it. I did pop however when Brodus Clay mentioned my hometown Stockton. Squealed like a little girl.

SMACKDOWN:
- Teddy Long was shown on the tron and said he will have Vickie fight for her job in a mixed tag with Drew as her partner against Edge and Kelly Kelly tonight in the Main Event.

(1)Rey Mysterio defeated. Kane.

Anyways, Crowd was red hot for the Rey Mysterio/Kane match. Rey wins by a rollup reversal. Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes comes down to have a chat with Rey. He tells Cody to come out giving him a speech to man up. Cody apoligizes to his father and rey. Rey shakes Dusty Rhodes hands, but Dusty doesn't release the handshake and Cody ends up killing him. Great Opening Segment to build the Rey/Cody feud for Wrestlemania.

(2) Rosa Mendes defeated Layla with Michelle by Disqualification due to Michelle's interference. Rosa actually didn't do to bad in here which is surprising. At one point they took it to the outside and fought near where Michelle was on commentary. I couldn't see really good, but it looked like Rosa pushes Michelle off of the chair and Layla gets back in the ring to try to win by countout. The ref turns to the outside to find Michelle attacking Rosa and disqualifies her. Layla finds out about this and is furious. She yells at Michelle, and Michelle gets back in the ring. Layla continues to yell at her and the crowd is yelling for a catfight to start. Instead, they both leave the ring and the dissension continues. I woukd say that the crowd was pretty hot for that confrontation. Just wondering who will make a face turn out of this?? Note to mention, Layla looked HOT!!

(3) Jack Swagger defeated Kofi Kingstin via ankle lock submission. Not much to note here, but Kofi selling the attack from Raw.

- Theres two backstage segments where Vickie is knocking on Teddys office to call off the match and beg for forgiveness, but he doesn't open the door. Meanwhile, Vickie finds Chavo and asks for his help. He refuses to help her because she never had his back. He leaves, and Vickie is still frustrated.

(4) Big Show deeated Wade Barret by Count Out- Corre is banned from ringside. Corre comes out after the match, but runs off when Big Show grabs a steel chair to run them off. They had to retape this again which was funny. This time though Big Show gets to blast Justin Gabriel with the steel chair and Corre leaves to the back. Big Show gloats with the audience before he leaves.

(5) Main Event Mixed Tag Team Match - Vickie's Career on the Line: Edge & Kelly Kelly defeated Drew McIntyre & Vickie Guerrero. Kelly hits Vickie with the spear and outside of the ring they go. Edge wins by pinfall with the spear. In the ring, Edge celebrates while Vickie is shown crying. Teddy comes out, and funny thing to note is that Edge is doing Teddy's little dance that he does. Haha. Teddy fires her and all Vickie does is plead with Edge to forgive her and get her job back. She goes outside to beg the Referree, Booker T, Michael Cole, and even the Camera man. Edge insteads sings her a song, the "Na Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye song". The crowd starts chanting and Edge celebrates afterwards. Suddenly, Alberto Del Rio shows up from the crowd and attacks Edge. He gets booed, but not as much heat as I thought he would.

I've got to say, the Cody/Dusty/Rey segment sounds fucking hot. A Rey beat-down is always good for a rising heel's heat. Cody has shown some real potential these last few weeks, and I think this could be his best program yet. It seems like Mask vs. Mask at WrestleMania might actually be a possibility...

The LayCool tension sounds interesting, and if people are hot for it, then by all means do it. I'd still go with Trish & Kelly Kelly vs. LayCool at Mania, but I think THAT should trigger the split between Michelle McCool & Layla. Also, Layla should definitely be the babyface.

I always look forward to Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger matches. Their feud is pretty much based around their ring work, but it makes sense for Kofi to put over Swagger, given Del Rio hurting his arm. I'm not going to lie -- I wouldn't mind seeing Kofi Kingston defend the Intercontinental Title against Jack Swagger at WrestleMania. I also wouldn't mind seeing Swagger take the title.

An idea I've had for their feud: Swagger should totally cut promos asking Kofi Kingston how it feels to be a hurt champion. Swagger can say that is what he experienced during his World Heavyweight Title run, because Kofi hurt him during the Money in the Bank Ladder Match last year. Swagger can say that his injuries never fully healed during his World Heavyweight Title run, and that is why he isn't still the champion. Michael Cole can take Swagger at his word, talking about how this is karma for Kingston, and Josh Mathews can flat-out call Swagger on his shit, saying that we would have heard about it earlier if there was any truth to it. Booker T can be in the middle, and say that regardless of whether or not Swagger was hurt, that's life in the WWE, and you don't make excuses for it.

Chavo telling Vickie off will be a personal moment for me.

I think that the WWE got the result of Barrett vs. Big Show around the wrong way. I think Barrett should have squeaked out the countout victory over Show, leading to the Corre running out and attacking Show. I don't know exactly what the WWE has planned there, but yeah. Let's continue building up the younger stars.

The main event sounds pretty entertaining. Drew McIntyre will be interesting to watch during the match. I'm sure we'll see a backstage interview added, where Todd Grisham asks him about his feelings towards the match. He really impressed at the Elimination Chamber, apparently, so I hope he really shines here, too. Vickie Guerrero being fired will be a great moment for the fans, but I fully expect her and Dolph Ziggler to end up together on RAW.

Alberto Del Rio attacking Edge is simple, but effective build towards their WrestleMania encounter.

With the way they've got Drew going, it looks like he could suffer a mental breakdown and I'm waiting for him to "snap" on anyone on Smackdown soon. Think about it, Drew goes psychotic and along the way destroys anyone in his way of (Kelly Kelly or the World Title, they can go either way here) because if he can't be happy, no one else should.

That WM card is starting to look amazing. I hope to fuck Rey puts Cody over at WM. Rey doesn't need the win at WM.

Seeing Kelly Kelly eat a Future Shock DDT would be pretty fuckin awesome. I agree with everything you've said here. Make him as ruthless as possible and with this gimmick I could definitely see him getting over more than I could when he was "The Chosen One"

I definitely see Rey putting Cody over at WM, especially with the renewed rumors that Rey may be winding his career down. It'd definitely give Cody a good rub in what's been the most interesting he's been since joining the WWE. After watching him in Legacy I fully expected him to fall by the wayside, but he's definitely turning the corner. Ted Dibiase on the other hand has been buried to a ridiculous level, not to mention taking bitch slaps from Maryse on a weekly basis.

Awww there's gonna break up Laycool :(?

Normally I get the idea that you need to break up a group so individuals can go on to bigger things, move up the card but this tis the women's division, there's no upwards movement, so why break up something that works.

Taker doesn't do house shows, so unless it's TV there wasn't really any hope anyway.

<font color=goldenrod>I read in one set of spoilers that Cody pulled off Rey's mask but Rey covered his face.

If it becomes Mask vs. Mask, there is no way in fuck that Cody is going over at Mania. Even if Rey WANTED to lose his mask (which he's said before he doesn't), WWE wouldn't let him because his look is too marketable and Rey's expensive masks sell by the shitload.

So yeah, hopefully it's just a standard one-on-one.</font>

That WM card is starting to look amazing. I hope to fuck Rey puts Cody over at WM. Rey doesn't need the win at WM.

My gut is telling me that Rey is going over at WrestleMania. He's more marketable, it's WrestleMania (so faces automatically have the edge), and Rhodes is not going to be hurt by the loss. Hey, if Rey goes over CM Punk at Mania by virtue of being Rey Mysterio, I think the same rule applies to Cody Rhodes.

Kofi piss off somebody? Seems like he's getting pushed down pretty good these past few shows.

On the contrary, I believe that Kofi Kingston has had an amazing 2011. He's been given the Intercontinental Title for the third time, winning it off a guy who was the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title the same night Kofi beat him, and Kingston has been all up in the Royal Rumble Winner's grill for the way he's been treating him.

If the company had no faith in Kofi Kingston, then I doubt they would have let him be the guy their World Title challenger feuded with prior to the direct build to WrestleMania.

This stuff with Jack Swagger does two things: 1) It plays off the history between Kofi and Swagger, where Kofi got about a million clean wins over Swagger in a row, 2) It builds up tensions between the two for WrestleMania season. I would have guessed that we would have gotten Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger in Money in the Bank, but it's also very possible that we'll get an IC Title match, which would be awesome.

Chris Masters won a match woohoo! Is this the start of his big push that was rumoured a few weeks ago?

Masters also won the same match against Tyler Reks last week. The company seems to have a lot of backing for Reks, so it's a pretty good sign that Masters is going over him two weeks in a row. I don't expect Masters to be wearing the World Heavyweight Title anytime soon, but the man has improved so much, is a veteran despite still being so young, and has the potential to get over and be quite marketable. Perhaps Money in the Bank is in his future this year? Especially if Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger are tied up in an IC Title bout. And hey, if they decide it be a draw from a hat, maybe Masters will be the World Heavyweight Champion before we know it...

Awww there's gonna break up Laycool :(?

It's pretty much just for the pay-off. It's the same reason Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole are feuding -- people would love to see King destroy Cole, and people would love to see LayCool destroy each other. I also believe that Layla could be a very marketable face for the WWE. Could see her becoming an iconic Diva, to be honest.

I agree with Lara. Love Laycool.

Well, yeah...I mean they're the best diva tag team anybody's seen in WWE for years, but let's face it...they've been at each other's throats to a certain degree for a while now, and busting them up soon can only mean great things for each of their singles careers.

Also, so with Vickie now gone for good, where does this leave Dolph? Will we also never see him again in WWE, or does anyone else get the feeling that he'll "jump" over to RAW?

See that's the thing breaking them up isn't going to do shit for their careers, if anything they'll just end up falling back mixed in with the rest of the division

Well, maybe Layla will, but I honestly think Michelle McCool still has more than enough potential, heat and charisma to carry her to at least 3 more divas' championships, if not MORE, by the end of her career...but I'll digress so we don't end up in a huge argument/debate.

Maybe Edge will question where he was when ADR attacked him this time. Build a little tension between the former tag partners.

Reports still say Christian is recovering from his injury but since the Chamber was near his home, he showed up for the attack. He's still not ready for in-ring wrestling.

Promos and building tension would be a good idea but Christian wouldn't be ready any time soon for an attack to Edge if he was to turn heel and join Del Rio or any counter attack by Del Rio if he stays as a face.

SmackDown! was a really good show this week. The opening match between Rey Mysterio and Kane was well constructed, and the clean win helps to build Mysterio's momentum heading into WrestleMania. If there is a Money in the Bank Ladder Match, then I fully expect Kane to be a part of that match, but Mysterio has the singles program, which people need to care about.

I'd just like to say that the angle with Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes and Rey Mysterio was AMAZING. Sincerely, I think it's one of the best done things I've seen on WWE programming in a long time. Dusty Rhodes coming out all smiles, played his role perfectly. On the mic, Dusty proved what good he still has to offer the WWE. His promo telling Cody Rhodes that while he was being "Dashing," The Miz and Edge were becoming World Champions was awesome. And the allusions to championships, WrestleMania and the Hall of Fame is pretty much the core direction any character in the WWE should have. Dusty nailed everything here.

Cody Rhodes played his part splendidly, too. Never before has Cody looked more intense, and the look with the suit and the protective mask is awesome. Despite not being the most buff guy on the roster, Cody seemed legitimately dangerous here. He seems focused on really grabbing the brass ring with this feud, and I sincerely marked out for him here. The WWE is obviously behind Rhodes, too. The power the production added to this segment was fantastic. When Cody rammed Rey Mysterio's head into the screen and caused a distorted and blurred visual reflection -- it pretty much sums up Cody Rhodes' current persona. I hope they keep it, truthfully. Go with some sort of "damaged beauty" direction with Rhodes.

The symbolism of Cody Rhodes demasking Rey Mysterio was intense, too. And seeing Cody and Dusty hug in the back with the camera zooming in on the mask of Mysterio...chilling. Kudos, WWE, for really getting me pumped for this angle. It really feels like it belongs at WrestleMania. Dusty should also stick around, since he seems to have perfect command of his character, to this day. He could end up being a heat machine.

The only thing I did not like about this whole thing was actually Michael Cole's commentary. In my opinion, he missed the very important shift in the storyline. This is no longer about being "Dashing" or keeping good looks intact. This is about WrestleMania, championships and the Hall of Fame. In that order. I hope that is the direction the WWE takes with this feud, and Cody Rhodes evolves the "Dashing" persona into something more focused on the top.

As far as I know, Christian lives in Florida. That's nowhere near California.

WWE contacted him to go with them to California for the ppv and even though he participated in attacking Del Rio, he's still not healed enough to do full-time wrestling and traveling.

Just checked out the Cody/Rey angle, it's 'pretty great'. Been marking for Cody for a long time now but wasn't sure how far they were willing to run with him due to his character (which he has got nailed down) not really evolving past what was pretty much comedy. This angle accomplished that perfectly and now he's a 'legit'. I hope he goes all the way and I think he will.
