Ha ha Davey fall down... then goes on to drop Burchill high on the back of his neck and injured him. Since Batista's UFC dreams seems to have stalled out and even though he's bad mouthed TNA before, do you think it would help TNA any if they signed him? He's another former world champion and I dont really see his "retirement" sticking if he was offered enough money. Do you think he could generate anything positive for TNA or would he just be kinda like Lashey and just get a "Meh" and slowly dissapear again?

If Kurt Angle couldn't bring in significant interest to TNA, no way could Batista.

I think he wouldn't go to TNA and it's Strikeforce that he's wanting to sign with, not UFC.

TNA would be 80% more injury prone.

It would be a big nothing again for TNA.

TNA has proved time and time again they are not one more big signing away from taking over the world.

I know he's in negotiations with Strikeforce but I'm sure he wouldnt past up UFC if they offered him.

We've all seen in the past that simply signing new talent does very little in the long run....you always have to use them correctly.

They'd hype up a big announcement.

Nobody would care.

Batista is unveiled.

Nobody cares.

Gets the world title within a month, then leaves.

Nobody cares.

He would matter even less

Pretty much what everyone else said. One signing will not do anything for TNA. Even if they got The Rock, it would depend on his booking.

Angle, Sting, Nash, Hogan, Flair. Combined, these guys may have given TNA a .2 increased ratings average, and these are some of the biggest names in the industry.

If he went to TNA, he'd be pushed as the shit, given the title within 3 months then go through anyone of worth below him. There's nothing positive about Batista being in TNA outside of a one month type of "holy shit, Batista's on TNA. I'm gonna tune in once or twice...", ratings go up a point or two, then everything evens off to where they were.

I've said it before, they have the roster. They could have an awesome show without bringing ANYONE in. It all comes down to the writing, the product itself and the promotion of the company (something they do very poorly outside of social networking).
